Interesting. Seem to have lost the PS and Zauriel and picked up the Question, Aquaman (?), Amethyst, and some woman I don't immediately recognize behind the Nightmare Nurse. Also dunno who's in the background being struck by lightning.

I'm ok with the Blight ending. Not sure how to do it better without involving worse plot devices.

So, where do you guys put Blight after this event?

Hard to say, his feats didn't exactly correspond to the types of people we would normally measure him up against.

Everything the JL Dark threw at him only made him stronger. Given the roster involved, I'd say that puts him at least in the Skyfather tier. On the other hand, he was pretty ineffective at actually hurting them back, so I don't necessarily want to put him higher than that.

Basically if you put him up against Odin, I'd say Odin would be unable to beat Blight, but I saw little from Blight that would definitively put down Odin either.

JLD was really good! I'm fine with the Blight ending, he's gotta go sooner or later! Only thing I didn't like was John was planning on defeating Blight with evil vs evil thing, that does not make sense, and the comic showed it, only good can drive out evil! I did not see that coming with Chris though. Good showing for John and Nightmare Nurse! The DCDU is where its at!

Although, there was never really a doubt in my mind, tbh (to the point where calling the dog "the Presence" didn't really matter to me, since it was rather obvious, imo)

I agree that it was obvious, but up until that issue it hadn't yet been outright stated. It's just nice to have PS himself incontrovertibly confirm it... And multiple times, at that.

The good thing about Romita Jr. is that he's pretty efficient, so no delays in the book for starters. He also does some decent action scenes, so I hope they go high on action.
