multiversity honestly sounds like a total game-changer... like it will revolutionize the industry.
I found this portion of the interview particularly intriguing, though:
Even the pages of The Multiversity hold a certain creative magic for Morrison. He promises, for example, that in issue 7, which he describes as a “haunted, cursed comic,” that the reader themselves will “become a superhero being. You become Earth Prime’s first genuine superhuman being. This comic makes it possible.” It’s hard to tell if he means metaphorically or literally, or even whether the distinction is meaningful.
mmm

That depends a lot on the followup.
I mean, don't get me wrong, Multiversity *will* sell like hotcakes and probably be a great book, but extending that beyond Multiversity itself is the tricky part.
^ Various components of Multiversity, such as the new cosmological layout, will stick for sure. However, there aren't many writers who can produce a metaphysical/metatextual story like Morrison, so I doubt *that* side of Multiversity will extend into further books--and that is probably a good thing, tbh. After all, books like this are intended moreso for a mature audience, as they typically require multiple reads in order to grasp the story in its entirety--they aren't really intended for a younger demographic, imo.
Essentially, I think Multiversity will be akin to "Superman Beyond" in its metaphysical/metatextual content... Except there will likely be even more depth. Can't wait. 👆
Awesome to see Lord Havok And the Extremists on Earth 8.

so, when and where did frankenstein get a power ring....? btw, anyone else really enjoying demon knights? i just started and am 6 issues or so in, and i really like it so far. good classic fun. 👆and, what's the best dcnu book that you think people AREN'T reading...?
either justice league dark, swamp thing, or phantom stranger, imo. obviously there are other DCnU titles that are great reads, but those are the least-mainstream i could think of right off hand.
First issue of Multiversity was everything I hoped it would be. Absolutely stellar.

Once again, there's Grant Morrison, and then there's everybody else.
Jesus, that was amazing.
edit:
I've read Sensation Comics with Wonder Woman right after that.
Maybe it's the the transition in quality, but Gail Simone is a terrible writer, when she's not writing Secret Six [and changing their personalities to what she needs]
