I really can't see anything good coming of this.Unless Johns surprises everyone and has Darkseid stomping the JLA to serve as a reminder that they can't expect to solve every problem by just punching it and that some foes are just too big to smash.
But I really don't see Johns going that route.
Is it really so much to ask that comics have villains who can't just be beaten up by the hero at the end of the comic?
What is Geoff Johns track record on introducing team wreckers? In JSA I remember Onimar Synn wrecking the entire team, which included Black Adam.
He also had KOT wreck Spectre. Hal, Barry, or Aquaman might deliver the victory blow, but at least they'll work for it.

For all the Amanda Conner fans...
immy Palmiotti already has worked on the new line with Justin Gray on All Star Western, but he hasn’t worked for DC with his wife Amanda Conner since their critically well received run on Power Girl. And something’s been missing since.Well, now it looks like we’re going to get twice the reward. Two titles by Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray and Amanda Conner in the DC Universe, on the schedule. Jimmy was heard saying that “the two books…both female characters…and one’s a lady.”

Superman is looking better than ever, with the adjusted uniform.
(And is he already being drawn to resemble Henry Cavill?)
I dunno; he looks pretty much like Jim Lee's standard Superman to me, albeit a little younger.
Swamp Thing looks soooo good. droolio
