Well now that that vital piece of info is given, back to the thread.

Wish them away with the Triforce. Woot.

Oh, look, a strawman fallacy based on gameplay mechanics. Why am I not surprised you'd use such a weak, invalid argument?
Why would I be surprised you'd ignore the manner in which every Link has ever been portrayed and to cling to embellishing feats to support his skin is bullet resistant.

@Burning thought

It isn't just a sword it's every weapon that can hurt Link in the game. No sword that goes up against Link has the feats to support a bullet bouncing off of Link's flesh, either.

Scream's the main lightning rod here. Wherever he goes a few seconds later the lightning arguments are sure to follow. If lightning isn't being brought up in this thread then whats the point in discussing it now?

Agree with what Moo said earlier, TPLink is [and by powerscaling, so is Dorf] a 200/300 tonner that places both their strength and durability above that of MK with the exception of the few top strength characters who are said to be in the 100 ton range.

There's never been any proof this link can lift something or someone who weighs 200 tons. It's just a few guys pretending they can determine the weight of a goron and falsely claiming he's 100 percent made of rock while ignoring the gear induced part of the feat.

Oh yeah...The Goron tossing...Hehehe

What was the argument again Quan? That Link's footwear increased his arm strength to the point where he could lift a Goron?

QUAN-TUM FIZZIKZ!

If you want to use the fat and the muscles, then how does he have muscular arms with such an enormous gut? Doesn't seem possible with a flesh body to me.
Actually it is possible. In fact, you will find the strongest men in the world tend to have builds like Darunia.

Also, Darunia's eyes are clearly gemstones. Legit look at them. 😐

Gorons are also organic and would be made up of not only carbon but water as well. Not to mention things like fat and hollow pockets in their skeleton structure. Gorons aren's stone golems dude.

And even if they were, Dangoro's size doesn't suggest anything above 50 tons. How you'd end up taking that weight and multiplying by 4 or 5 is beyond me.

Also if we're talking 18 wheelers with a container, that just helps my case. Since 18 wheelers are not only made of more dense material but are bigger than Dangoro too.

I'm not sure what it is you are referring to exactly with the multiplication, but weight does increase extremely fast.

Weight increases by the cube of the scaling factor.

So if one rock weighs 800 lbs, another hypothetical rock of identical shape that happens to be twice as big will actually weigh 6400 lbs. Or, 8 times as much.

An identically shaped rock of 25% larger size will weigh twice as much.

Just that without the boots he can't stop the gorons since he lacks the weight to do so.

No shit.

So on his own he isn't strong enough for the feat. Glad we agree.

He's strong enough. Not heavy enough.

No, see, lmao. That's where your brain fails you and everything around you. You've just said that a lack of weight translates into a lack of strength. This is not so.

It doesn't matter though if they agree with me or not as he can't perform this feat without the boots and with them on he severely limits his mobility and speed so it's a win/win for Mk if he decides to put the boots on.

LOL, when I weigh more through training I can always lift more than when I am 20 pounds or so less. I take it you don't actually have any weight training or gym experience.

Bro, I know you're not legitimately stupid enough to totally blow off the point I actually made. I know this because that is not possible. So do not overlook it intentionally.

Link can lift Dangoro without weight. He cannot stop Dangoro's rolls without weight. Weight is not all that would be needed to stop Dangoro. You would also need strength.

^no that means you can lift more when you have 20 lbs of extra muscle versus when you don't.

He can't pull the feat off because he doesn't have the weight to resist the guy. It's pretty clear he can't do any of this without the boots due to needing the extra weight to resist someone heavily outweighing him.

It wouldn't be necessarily 20 more pounds of muscle but the fact remains more weight means you can lift higher weights than when you weigh less.

simply being 20 lbs fatter is not going to help you press/lift/pull more weight.

That rule would only apply to someone as heavy as Dangoro. He is not fighting any such person in this thread.

Did I rape/murder you or someone you know in a past life or something? I don't understand why you feel the need to troll this hard for this long. I used to think you weren't doing this on purpose. But now I just don't want to believe that.

Why wouldn't it ? Let's say someone who outweighs me by 140 pounds is going to wrestle me in a match. Now my chest, back, shoulders, arms, etc. all can light higher amounts of weights in all categories in the gym. Do I have a chance at overpowering his larger body in a wrestling match due to my gym superiority ?

Put on a ****ing 50 pound weight vest.

See if you can lift more than what you normally do right after.

Quan there is no way you can be stupid enough to say that, I DO weight-train, having weight in muscle obviously increases strength, no shit.

Putting heavy boots on will not improve your upper body strength.

If you believe it does, go back to Elementary school and get a ****ing education.

Link has to brace himself to stop a goat so don't act like he's always portrayed as super strong despite the fact he has to use a special technique to stop a worthless goat.

I'm right.

You're wrong.

Deal.
