Then they won't be swayed by encouraging words. They are still ignoring you.

Rand is fed up with trying to talk things through with them. If they are not going to reveal their leader, then he is going to have to try finding them himself. They aren't cooperative or afraid of him, after all.

Rand will return to the leader's dwelling.

You are back to it, then! What is it that you want to do here?

Rand wnats to examine it thoroughly. With both his eyes and his powers. Does he sense anything peculiar about it? Or see anything suspicious? He wants to see if he can figure out what the leader was doing before he left his home.

The leader's abode is very plain; just a single room with a stove off to one side and a bed in the far corner. He has no other furniture. The stove has long been cold.

And Rand's senses?

You reach out. It is through the grace of your high attunement to the Force that you feel as if the room is larger than it is.

Rand will try to figure that out. As in that the room as he sees it is larger when he feels it?

Essentially.

Rand will start examining the walls and floor of the room, trying to see if there is anything covering a hole or something like that. Maybe an added section of the room.

Observation says... you notice that there is a very blatant wooden board laying across the floor.

Rand will remove it with the Force.

You pull the board away and reveal a crudely dug hole.

Rand eyes the hole. Does it lead anywhere?

It appears to go down a short ways and then branch off directly ahead. It is not gracefully dug but just large enough for movement around down there.

Rand will turn to Foghren, who I assume has been keeping pace with Rand this whole time.

"I am going down there," Rand says. "I want you to keep watch for me. Radio me if anything happens."

"You got it, Master," Foghren says.

It is dark down there, Rand.

Rand will drop down and see if the hole leads anywhere, using his senses.

You cannot see all that well but you can certainly sense that that the hole expands off to one side and goes a long ways off.

Rand will follow his senses down the hole. He wants to know where it leads.
