No I made the claim because you said it, basically I've taken your word for it because I usually find you to be a credible source. You made the claim in another thread that Caps enhanced mind is a major factor to his fighting ability, this wasn't based on anything. This made me doubt wether this is actually accurate because I asked you in that thread for proof and it was never given. The doubt starting to creep in because there are also hardly any references to him having enhanced intelligence. In fact I didn't know until you brought it up and I don't remember or own any comics which state he has enhanced intelligence.

Or do yo want to argue that suddenly after several years on this forum and usually agreeing on topics that I just suddenly decided to be a jerk and I'm lying about my motivations? I said it because you said it so can I please have the issue number.

You should not be relying on other posters are a source to make a claim that he legitimately has it. I have references for it but why should I assist you since you yourself made the claim and don't have any actual references for it.

I won't give a reference at all to so someone who made the claim and used it for his own purpose in a debate to suit his "need". It makes you look in very bad light. Otherwise you should not have claimed it from the beginning.

Now had you asked me outside from a debate from me. I would have gladly assisted you but this is not the case. I won't hold you by the hand and take you to that reference since you claimed it yourself.

That fact that you did without any knowledge for yourself isn't very logical.

Pretty much.

I remember when I first joined the board. Most people were actually dead set that Slade was superior in Cap in "every thing". Some even made the silliest claims that he has Spiderman level stats or class 10.....LOL

I'm glad times have changed and now these two are viewed more or less as equals.

No theres nothing wrong with that at all. This isn't a court of law or a business nobody is going to die or get injured if you're wrong. People come onto these forums when they don't have anything else better do and this isn't that important. So obvously there is nothing wrong with what I did. Since you usually tend have sources and are usually reliable I thought you knew what you were talking about. Everybody at least at one time in their life has trusted the word of a reliable source.

No it doesn't, theres nothing wrong with asking somebody about a subject that is related to the thread.

Yes you're correct. I asked you for proof oustside of this debate and you never accused me of backpedaling and having double standards then. Why is that? Theres absolutely nothing wrong with asking for proof especially when a person is making absurd claims.

Your right there is nothing wrong with asking for proof. But I'm not giving you any type of reference since you already used that claim for your own need in a debate and then backpedal when it suits you.

You asked for proof in a debate with me and then used it to help you in a debate in another. I will not assist you because of that.

deadline, uve claimed capt had an enhance mind a number of times, so I dont get why all of sudden your asking for proof. why would you claim something as a fact, if you your self never seen evidence for it?

He was once debating with me on Cap skill/mind. He asked for references for his mind being enhanced and for the statements.

As we had not finished that debate. And then in another debate, I caught him making the claim that Cap does indeed have a enhanced mind.

So he used the claim to suit him and when it doesn't he'll back pedal. And now he's asking for proof again on it.

I won't give him his supply and demand since he's shown to use it when it suits him and won't use it when it doesn't.
