Who can beat Galactus?

And hell, what about the next attack of Odins against Thanos?

Odin uses both hands and it just pushes Thanos back a bit...

Odin didnt really have a whole lot of success against Thanos until he pulled out Gungnir; Galactus didnt have resort to his gear to deal with Thanos...

Aside from the visual evidence (which is clear as day), Odin sensed that Thanos was tapping into his technology just to hang with him.
It isn't clear at all. You don't see a shield which is always either alluded to or clearly drawn. Earlier against Thor in the same arc we see Thor bust through a shield. There is no shield here. I wish you wouldn't make things up it kinda takes away from your credibility.

hmm, looking at it again, i'm not so sure. the blast DOES seem to end BEFORE striking his body and spread out around it. or at least i can see why that point would be argued. 😬

When Thanos used shielding against Galactus, it was clearly stated on panel that he was calling upon them; when Thanos used shielding against Thor, the shield is shown clearly (as well as it shattering into pieces)...

Neither of these occur in the scan you claim with Odin vs Thanos Wodenson...

[B]No, it's shown Odin's blast had more of an effect the second blast. This is common sense the more you blast someone the more it's eventually going to wear them down. Wow.

Odin's blast didn't even touch Thanos the first time, and you see an curved barrier surrounding him.

It did happen. You being unaware of it changes nothing.

I know exactly what you THINK you're talking about, but you're wrong on the basic facts.

Then prove what the comic showed us is false by it being mentioned as false in a later comic. It's simple.

All I have to do is prove that the Eye of Odin is a liar.

The Celestials let Odin attack them as did they allow Thor so why not let Galactus ?

Galactus, using his own power, would get massacred by the Celestials.

its not like he whips out the nullifier and starts using it

And what if it was a viable tactic? :-P
Double ko? Lol

@Wodenson

The Ultimate Nullifier is an aspect of Galactus (as stated on panel during the Abraxas storyline)...so it does qualify as "using his own power."

So Galactus, fighting to the best of his ability, owns the 4th Celestial Host worse than the 4th Celestial Host owned the 2000ft Destroyer...

hmm

can spectre(crispus) at his best defeat big g

he wouldn't get the chance to use it

Restorting to the Ultimate Nullifier is a concession that Galactus has no chance without it.

Its apart of him...not a seperate item; no different than an arm or leg.

*Looks closely as image*... That's not how his shields are usually portrayed..

But, if he's tanking it to no effect, do you see the point where his "chest" should be? The little circle of white, where the blast dissipates? If that's the point where the blast contacts his chest, doesn't his chest look disproportionately extended to the way it usually does?. Plus, his chest seems to connect with his crotch...

I can see why someone might think this is a shield..

Edit: I'm not sure now. The more I examine the image, the more it looks like there's a small semicircle the blast is dissipating around, from head to crotch..

I can't be threatened with my own arm or leg. But thank you for the concession.

^^^

That illustration is simply imperfect and you are right cdtm, that is simply not how Thanos's shielding is usually portrayed...

Again, Odin appears to be attempting to defeat Thanos with the same attack he defeated Drax with; a one handed energy blast...and Thanos tanked it without effort.

Galactus is an energy being; he truly doesnt have arms or legs (you'd know this if you read enough Surfer comics)...

And I dont conceed a dam thing; I will conceed that you are a fool however!

Dont be bitter...accept the facts; Galactus annihilates the 4th Celestial Host if he truly wants to destroy them...and theres not a dam thing they can do to stop him.

Hell, Galactus solos the entire universe if he ever decides he really wants to...

In Wodenson's defense, Maelstrom did keep the UN out of Galactus' hands and Galactus couldn't do anything about it. I'm sure the Celestials could do something if push came to shove.

Maelstrom who had gained enough power to go one on one with Thanos who had the IG?

I think Maelstrom at that point in time>>>>>4th Host.

True but this assumes you'd need somebody of that power level to keep the UN from Galactus. I think a Celestial ,or being generous to Galactus' power, two Celestials can accomplish it.
