I did enjoy the fact that it utterly and completely shattered the notion that an Abstract must be more powerful than a Skyfather. He might have been idiotic, but Hercules sure was powerful.
Hercules was beyond abstract by the end of the arc. He restored "98% of the multiverse" simply at the cost of burning out his powers.

Thanks? My point is that Hercules was insanely powerful and had the might of a Skyfather granted by God related artifacts.
If nothing else, it invalidates the assumption that the Skyfather tier is below the Abstract tier in terms of power. Now I'd like Rune King Thor to return just so we could see the extent of his might.
I honestly believe that's where Pak got the Skyfather Hercules idea from. Or it at least influenced him.

Syntax. He clearly had power over a conventional skyfather when he casually dealt with the council of god heads. That alone makes Hercules as invalid placeholder for the conventional "Skyfather-level" power, as you're arguing. He then effectively grappled with "Anti-Eternity" who for all intents and purposes was a literal abstract by that point.
Anyway, it's akin to saying that Scathan the Approver invalidates the assumption that the Celestial/cosmic being tier is below the tier of LT-like beings in terms of power.

Wow, slow down and stop putting words into my mouth.
I am not and never was implying that Hercules is a conventional Skyfather. My point is this: Chaos War proved without a shadow of a doubt that the power of a Skyfather can extend to levels far beyond what some people believe to be their limit.
It opens the door for writers to have a Skyfather operate on a much larger scale without blinking.
I hope Odin steps it up against Galactus -like entering his full power/giant sized form or what not- because if he stalemates Galan in his current state, the implications are pretty dire for Galactus.

Rune King Thor would be on a completely different level as a result. He utterly annihilated Loki as if he was nothing, who at that point was most likely about as powerful as the Odin that's taking on Galactus.

Wow, this is getting to be beyond pathetic. I thought Galactus and Surfer would put up more of a fight. Odin hasn't even busted out his "big guns" yet (Scepter of Power, Destroyer Armor, etc..).
For hell's sake, Thor is SEVERELY injured and he's shaking off point blank blasts to the face by a pissed off Surfer! 😆
This basically settles it : Thor >> Surfer and Odin = Galactus.
