Wow, slow down and stop putting words into my mouth.I am not and never was implying that Hercules is a conventional Skyfather. My point is this: Chaos War proved without a shadow of a doubt that the power of a Skyfather can extend to levels far beyond what some people believe to be their limit.
It opens the door for writers to have a Skyfather operate on a much larger scale without blinking.
Yeah, it proved that a "skyfather" can reach levels far in excess of conventional limits, but as I stated before that's like arguing that Scathan invalidates the assumption that the Celestial tier is below the LT tier. You said as much yourself in this post:

Thanks? My point is that Hercules was insanely powerful and had the might of a Skyfather granted by God related artifacts. If nothing else, it invalidates the assumption that the Skyfather tier is below the Abstract tier in terms of power. Now I'd like Rune King Thor to return just so we could see the extent of his might.
I honestly believe that's where Pak got the Skyfather Hercules idea from. Or it at least influenced him.
Until there are others like Hercules that pop up, I'm looking at him as a one-and-done deal (i.e., extreme outlier) like Scathan in terms of scope of power relative to his conventional peers. If you want to look at it as a potential first of others that may come, then fine. But until that time happens he is just an outlier in the mold of Scathan, as opposed to a representation of a higher plane of power a la omega level mutants like Franklin Richards and MJJ when compared to the regular Magnetos and Xaviers of the world.
Anyone got more recent previews than these of Mighty Thor 5?

I'm half expecting a full stalemate, only to have Odin reveal that he was using the power of the seed to battle Galactus all along and that the World Seed was destroyed in the process.
I actually think it's Thor, not Odin, that has something to do with the World Seed. That gash of his was bleeding energy or something to that effect. I bet he steps in and breaks Odin and Galactus up before they wind up killing each other.
So far what that poster said appears to be right, after the psi-war, they get physical and still no clear winner. It all ends in Mighty Thor 6 though.
I read the latest might thor:
* Looks like Galactus' only offense so far in the entire fight was during the TP battle in issue #4. Odin is clearly the aggressor.
*Odin tells Galactus to get out of his head. Galactus says "you first." Odin tires of the TP battle he initiated and decides to attack Galactus in the same fashion that Thor did in the previous issue, only on a much grander scale.
*Odin grows big, as large as Galactus, and bum rushes him
*Doesn't look like G reacts to brace himself or put up shields. Whatever
*Odin crashes into him and for lack of a better term, breaks Galactus' helmet and face into shards. G looks like he's bleeding energy.
*Odin's armor is all cracked and the impact causes the 2 to plummet form orbit down to earth
*Odin looks wrecked. Thor rushes to Odin's side and Odin begins babbling about the Seed. Something about the prophecy from Fear Itself re: the Serpent and then Odin enters the Odinsleep.
*Galactus is up. He has reconstituted his face and tells the Asgardians that he's tired of messing around and begins building the Elemental Converter. Odin is KO'd and the pastor from Broxton goes to confront Galactus by himself.
*Surfer ends up with Sif by his side. Thor looks jealous.
