Smith vs. Anakin (Lord Vader)

So you think Anakin's TK can be broken via TK, and brute strength?

Yes.

No different than me saying: "name me one time, a single movie feat where anyone teleported/apparated out of a TK hold."

You can't and rightfully so, that burden isn't on you to prove. But not being dumbasses we can realize that a Force hold/choke wouldn't hold a teleporter. Just as we realize that people like Agent Smith, Superman and Hancock far exceed what the Force was shown being able to hold/resist, going by the films only. Other SW media, sure, it's far greater. Yoda picked up and slammed a mountain once.

Just throwing this one in as well because its badass:

You missed the point, you're saying someone can't get out of a Force hold because no one did in the films, implying all characters who are held are equal, when they're not. Smith isn't comparable to Padme.

Didn't DDM do the math for you? His punches were causing shock-waves in the 3rd film, iirc.

Why I posted the vids earlier.

Applying real world math to:

1: Jedi powers

2. The Matrix (lol @that)

Not really a strong argument. I'm sure his math was, as usual, dead on, but it's not really something that can be used in this thread.

No, not really. I have no idea what Yoda's(same with Anakin) limit in Force holding/lifting/pushing is in the films, or if he has one. So we go with what was shown in the films; that was many tons. Granted, he could likely manipulate more than that large pile of rubble, but we did see him strain in that scene.

So what do you propose? We go with the "no one broke out of a Force-hold, so no one can't" and treat all characters subject to a Force-hold the same?

Watch the vids. Two TKers. Two people TK'd. All have varying strength levels. There was struggling involved in both vids, but in neither of the vids did the TKer have to exert more force. It all points towards one fact: When someone is suspended in a TK hold, no amount of strength will enable them to break free.

Same with SW. When someone is TK'd, they struggle, but no amount of strength enables them to break free.

Couple things wrong with your comparison:

-Pilgram and especially Toad have nothing on Agent Smith. He's stronger and faster.

-Toad and Pilgram can't fly, unless I'm remembering the films wrong. Did Pilgram fly?

Now, if Smith couldn't fly and he was lifted off the ground, you'd have a point. Didn't DDM or Neph already null this angle?

I wasn't awars I was actualy debating Neo vs Anakin... Hell I even agreed with you.

Agreed. Flight gives him what he needs to break free.

-Totally missed my point, Read my posts again, and

-Only when Todd upper cutted him hundreds of feet high.

Null it how? By foregoing MVF rule 7 and applying math and science to the Matrix and Jedi powers?

I did not "miss" it, your point does not apply and I showed you why. Both Toad and Pilgrim were lifted off the air and any strength they had to resist the hold was rendered useless.

Also, Smith > Toad and Pilgrim. You're still arguing that all characters are considered equal if they're held via telekenesis. Different powers, abilities and power-levels be damned.

Dude, my whole argument hinges on Smith being force lifted off the ground. Didn't you realize this?

wow, just wow, 11 pages... last night i watched the matrix revolutions on amc, then ff the original and reloaded on my dvd player, Anakin is doomed...

Dude, Smith can fly. Didn't you realize this when you watched the movies and Neph then re-stated it pages ago?

And a TK force hold holds him in place. It works on a cellular level, dude.

Even if Force TK works (I am not the biggest SW fan and thus do not feel like analyzing it), Anakin does not have the reflexes or durability to handle Smith's flying speed blitz

Dude, I'm serious. I haven't seen any of the SW films in a good minute, so my knowledge of his precog feats is rusty. Do you have some which I can reference?

Every instance where Anakin blocked a blaster bolt with his lightsaber.
