Yeah thats what many people have rightly so been saying.As much as I love it that they are redeeming themselves and making it right this time around,its way too soon for a reboot.As I said before,even when they waited a long time like they did to reboot Batman with Batman Begins,many people back then still thought it was just another sequal to the other Batman movies which is why it did not do so well.I remember people back then on these boards saying that quite a bit that they hated it that they were making another sequal.Other message boards as well.
With this one being released so soon like they are doing,its hard to believe many movie goers wont be thinking the same thing again.
I don't know it might work.
Think about it Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst wern't coming back, so the alternative would have been a Spiderman 4 with new actors and a new director. That essentially would have been a reboot of sorts anyway.
It's been 10 years since S1 and 5 years since the last Spiderman movie. So perhaps as long as they don't repeat themselves it could work.

yeah me neither.I am really impressed with cant remember her name,the actress playing Gwen.She was in CRAZY STUPID LOVE and her voice sounds NOTHING like she sounded in that movie.That to me sounds like she has really studied Gwens character and understands her. 💃
With sonys name attached to this project I just cant get excited about this movie even though they finally seem to be pushing the right buttons this time for once and redeeming themselves from the mistakes of the Raimi movies.
Gwen tells Peter in that trailer that her dad has over 500 cops looking for him.It sounds to me like she is saying he has all those cops looking for spider-man.why would 500 cops be after Peter Parker? Peter Parker would not be able to escape from them.They would find him in no time flat.
That means Gwen knows his identity. 😠 If thats true,that would be another betrayal to the comicbook. 😠 That would be like Commisioner Gordon knowing Bruce Wayne is Batman. 🙄 Might as well have Aunt May know as well while your at it. 🙄
If this turns out to be true,than while they have redeeemd themselves from the mistake of those horrible Raimi films not making those same mistakes again,their just replacing them with a DIFFERENT mistake. 😠
I somehow hope that it really is PETER PARKER the 500 cops are really after and he has somehow gotten away from him.Otherwise this is another bad sign of things to come wih sony continuing their ways of betraying the source material. 😠

yeah exactly.wouldnt be excessive for spider-man. so yeah we can just cross our fingers and hope that it isnt what it seems.That they really are after peter and she is just exxagerrating about the numbers and maybe they are just after Peter because they know he is spidermans contact and they just have some questions that they want to ask him and for some reason, he is trying to avoid them and thinks its something else or wants to avoid answering the questions or something like that.Lets just hope thats the case and thats what it is. cause yeah it would really suck if this is the FOURTH movie where he has been unmasked.

He's always been the most famous and popular Marvel character.
When I say those days are long gone, I mean in the movies, and like you said the old 90's animation was pretty good.

yeah you aint kidding.Its really sad that the 90's cartoon was far more loyal to the comicbook than the movies have been.That was the same way with the Batman movies till Batman Begins was made.

thats what I am crossing my fingers and praying for and that it REALLY is peter parker the cops want. Lik we mentioned before,500 would be a reasonable amount to send after "spider-man" so thats what gots me worried.
