Should probably keep your GDF-Rage there, this is the movies section. Just an FYI.

I supported my stance by fully agreeing on one of your comments but you chose to fully ignore that.

I guess every message board needs a Resident A-hole.

You copying what I said didn't support your stance. You can't say "sexual-attraction is a choice; I made the choice" followed by "I don't know why" as support in that setting. It does not follow logic.

Says the probably troll, as several people have been openly saying and warning me about in that thread.

Take it to that thread though, this isn't the place for you to stalk-cry. IIRC, taking grudges across threads is frowned upon.

so anyone see Garfield on Jay Leno last week???

Spoiler:
Once again Spidey demasks to someone he shouldn't have

Gwen I can understand, but thats it..

also anyone see it yet???

^ Another good review where he's saying it's a great movie but being critical of the parts where they've not followed the source material, like Lizard's alter ego not being human enough and people seeing Parker use his powers but not questioning it.

I also like how he's making fun of people who are calling it a rip-off of Ramai's movies (as if Sam Ramai created Spiderman's backstory) and those saying it's copying TDK in it's dark tone (just because the cheesiness of Ramai's movies is gone).

So clearly people who loved Ramai's films probably won't be too fond of this reboot. Whilst fans of the comics will like this (with a few criticisms in the odd place where they've changed the source material)..

Anyway I can watch this tomorrow! Yay!

When are we meeting up at the Metreon? I'll buy the hyper expensive popcorn if you buy me booze later.

Booo...

I'd rather watch the Dafoe version. Just gonna pop it in again...

Later? We're drinking during the film.

All of the above. Don't forget to pre-drink, too.

Not a positive review.

I don't think Moviebobs been that pissed off since Green Lantern. O.o

Did find my attention wandering more than a few times, which was unfortunate as that tells me I'm being bored, but overall not a completely terrible reboot. They can definitely improve in the sequel as the Raimi film did.

That moviebob dude is overly critical over a comic-based film, 'Gwen works at Oscorp!" So? He's going WAY out of his way to hate the film, it has its problems; more than just a few too, but to be critical of shit like "where are the webs going!?" It's a comic film, that silly aspect is seen on many a SM comic panel, called suspension of reality. Don't take it seriously and enjoy it.

Perhaps you would like to eat me? This just doesn't look like it's worth $15 to me.

(I barely recognize you, Kazenji... you "look" so different!)
