Although I hate they're doing the origins angle all over again & also Parker's parents' mysterious past....I'm kinda looking forward to this.

The guy playing Parker clearly looks too old to play a geeky teen IMO.

^ Looks like he's playing Parker properley. Super genius, makes his own web shooters. Plus he's got a sense of humour as Spiderman.

All essential things Sam Ramai's movies lacked.

Although I don't think a complete origin reboot this soon will do well box-office wise.

Parker was a genius and had a sense of humor in Ramai's films.

he had a sense of humor but he didn't tell jokes like comic/animated spidey.

That trailer looked a lot different. It looks okay, I guess. But it looks like there's gonna be a bunch of CGI figures jumbled around wrestling again (like Doc Oc and Spidey is Raimi's 2nd film). I don't like that shit.

The applause this trailer got at the Avengers was rather pathetic. Truthfully, I'm not looking forward to it merely because of the actor.

What sense of humour? I've seen more humour from the new spidey just from the trailer than I saw in all 3 Original Spidey movies.

And Parker didn't show his genius much in those movies. This one you can see they're making his intellect a big thing, kind of like with Iron man. How it should be.

Very. Only a couple of people clapped, by comparison TDKR and Prometheus both made the theater thunder with applause.

That's kinda sad, though I still doubt this will be any worse than Spider-Man 3.

^ It's not about the movie being bad. It's just too soon for a reboot, and there's not gonna be interest for that in the same year as Avengers and TDKR.

S3 actually made shit loads of money, because the interest for Spidey was still there at the time.

The one he showed in the films, with his little quips and self-deprecating humor.

Except he did; even Octavius commented on how Connor's called him "brilliant but lazy".

Spiderman 2 was good, but I didn't like the CGI battles with Spidey and Doc Oc. They ruined it for me. I think the first one is the best of the series. Da-f#cking-foe. 'Nuff said.
