Abortion dystopia #5823: Women deliberately conceiving and then aborting.

Among people I know, that actually accounts for the majority of unintended pregnancies.

Do you think people should be allowed to have an abortion if their birth control fails (through no fault of their own)?

No. I still see abortion as wrong.

But your whole point was "they should have used birth control". What is your excuse for this case?

I think he means because I argee with him that if it stops woman from having abortions then let them use Birth Control even if it is really bad for there bodies.
And are woman really that into not having a baby but still wants to go sleeping around.

I don't know what you mean. "They could have used birth control and didn't" wasn't my view of why abortion is wrong.

So they get raped then? I believe I allowed for that possibility in my post.

And as the other posters have said, there is birth control available even to poor people.

Again, we should stop with the idea that women get pregnant out of no where and completely outside of their control. This happens very rarely.

Then what was the point of this post supposed to be, if birth control has nothing to do with it in your opinion? If the issue has nothing to do with if it was in the woman's control, why were you wasting so much time arguing about that?

That was a response to my refutation towards the idea that women should be treated as if pregnancy is completely outside of their control.

The only time this is true is she is raped.

Or if contraception fails.

Maybe she wanted to get pregnant and did, then channged her mind.

I still wouldn't consider this outside the woman's power to prevent. Outside of rape, it's still her decision to take the risk.

Well what kind of logic was that about providing birth control then? If you think people should stay abstinent then you are seemingly reversing your own position.

There is no 100% garuntee to prevent pregnancy.... Not even with multiple preventatives.

it only takes one sperm cell to start the proccess.

The only absolute prevention is to not do it until you are ready to accept the consequences. if your not, then use the organ that has brain-cells, and leave well enough alone.

Jeeze, you're right. And while we're at it, i'm never going to cross a street again. After all, I might get hit by a car!

Anal. Oral.

Though if doing both, you probably want to start with the later.

we'll just make the treatment for car injuries illegal, so you have to get them done in an alley somewhere

Hardly a similar comparative Kandy. There is risk with just about everything people do, from getting paper and staple wounds in the office, to getting shot while using an ATM.

The difference is that in this case, this is a CONSCIOUS decision by oth parties, and both know the very real chance of it happening, and doing it anyway. That takes away "Accidental" pregnancies as an excuse unless your blind as a bat drunk or stoned, or your raping her....

Its my conscious decision to cross the street, with a very real chance of me getting hit. I guess this means there is no such thing as a "traffic accident". You are a very silly person.
