Who did...? I (and anyone else who has seen DH4.0 who is not trolling) will recall the following:

1) McClane saying "enough of this kungfu shit" and KOing her.
(Totally spark out, night-night, sleep tight eyes closed could have done anything to her)

2) Her recovering and taking advantage of his will to free Matthew, allowing him to save the eastern seaboard from meltdown in ambushing McClane totally dirty cheapshotting/ kicking him through a window and down a couple of stories (failing btw to KO or damage him seriously, much less failing to kill him).

3) McClane jumping into an SUV, driving it up her ass.

4) Ninja chick tanking said ramming by SUV, and struggling on against McClane.

5) McClane killing her and moving on to run a hell gauntlet and saving the day against ridiculous odds as usual.

No offense but if you seriously and non-trollingly assess that as McClane getting destroyed, you are blind and/or insane in addition to being horribly, horribly biased by hate of McClane..
(Which you are as you downplay everyone he faces as a mook.) Every single one of McClane's opponents would kill Van Zan. Of this there is no doubt.

McClane as mentioned before fights all day/night, his opponents are all fresh he is entitled by this fact and the laws of great drama/entertainment to have a fighty fight rather than just banging out people like they were rice paper and being a CGI warrior of total immortality like so many of today's diabolically yawnsome characters.

You know what, I'll agree with you Sadako, that McClane's durability does allow him a win, but I find it odd that you criticize today's heroes for being "diabolically yawnsome" because they are "CGI warriors of total immortality", yet that is exactly what McClane was in DH4 and DH5.

Dude then we have our 2nd agreement. i wasn't happy with the way they went about 5. Took it a bit far. All that was missing was the "S" sign and cape. Give me the elevated sense of peril and humanity of the 1st few, any day from a viewer's perspective..

Zan laughs off punches whereas McClane bleeds and fumbles around for a weapon to save him. Not saving him here. Zan, 10/10.
