LoL. If someone watched the film and paid attention, he would have seen that when Gandalf was fighting the Balrog and riding it during the free-fall, he no longer had his staff and he didn't burn.

His protection from fire isn't due to his staff. Watch the film; then comment. Stop embarrassing yourself, it's 2012 now, I know you can do it.

What foe burned up when they touched the Balrog ?

It's on ****ing fire and smoking from it. It has glowing magma for blood. I think it's obvious.
Look how your argument has been attacked in my absence. Your days are numbered.

Non sequitur response.

Attacked, but still untouched. Fire generally burns, Gandalf wasn't burned through to his abilities against flame. Accept this and move on.

It was an ok movie. I kinda expected it to be more godly meaning they showed more of the god side, their powers and their wrath towards man but I guess they will never to that'?? Remember xena, when see killed all the greek gods? Well most of then, something like that I thought would happen?

You are claiming it just burns people up without it never happening. Concession accepted.

I get that but it didn't burn anyone up.

You can try your clown-angle of "we never saw it burn, so it can't", which ignores the known fact that Gandalf didn't burn because he has some manner of resistance to fire(seen twice in the films) and any idiot knows that fire and glowing molten lava is hot.

It's still January, it's way too early to set a precedent-of-fail for yourself, try harder, okay?

If you make a claim that people burn up you need to prove it. You just say random things you can't prove and it has to stop. That's probably why you scurry away for long periods of time in between responses.

The obvious doesn't have to be proved, genius. If you want to claim a visibly sharp sword can't cut, you prove it; not the other way around where the sharp sword can't cut unless proven.

Good ole troll tactic #142, the Reversal of Blame, brilliant.

I am not saying it can't or won't burn but just set an entire body on fire needs to be proven.

A straw-man now, more brilliance.

If you can't back up your claims then don't make 'em.

I never said it can't burn but to say it sets someones body aflame you need to prove it.

Back it up or concede.
