Maybe an insane cat & mouse chase sequence?

That was what the whole movie was.

We must remember that Nolan's Batman has solemnly sworn never to kill, and obviously the Joker made him want to forget that self-vow, which is WHY the scene is climactic - we finally learn what Joker's goal has been all along - to be killed by Batman. The rest was just kicks and giggles for him. And having the audience finally know this, and seeing how Batman has to overcome his anger and temptation... because the two of them have been playing "Chicken" throughout the movie, and now it's finally face to face.

It wasn't a bit anticlimactic to me... neither the Joker's capture nor Two-Face's death. What he had done since he was seduced by the Joker's idea of Chaos made it impossible to let him survive past the movie.

Yes, I agree exactly.

I stay with the old Batmans and the fact that Anne plays Catwoman makes me really not want to see it.

Uh oh, someone's not a fan!

lol, nostalgia bias.

Bane's mask, still looking stupid to me.

You look stupid. ermmad

But seriously, I'm hyped up for this movie, I love Batman. 13

Wheres your sig from Thoren?

Girl looks like Lana Lang, but guy doesn't look like Tom Welling.

That's Nina Dobrev in Vampire Diaries.

I'm not doubting you but refresh my mind...where did Batman openly swear never to kill?

I know his whole persona throughout the comics was to never cross that line but I can't recall in Begins or TDK where he claims he will never kill.

I kinda wish they'd gone with the original Bane mask, I know I may get shot for this but...least in Joel movie they got the mask right. I mean the character Bane was a joke in that movie but they still had the look down kinda right...note that I said KINDA...not COMPLETELY right. I dunno if Bane is on Venom in this movie either, thats how Bane got to be so strong in the first place...from what I know in this movie Bane just seems to be strong. He seems a little small as well.

I don't know if he ever stated that clearly, but it is strongly implied.

When he was confronting Ras, he said he wouldn't kill him, but didn't have to save him either (final fight in Begins). So I guess that's the evidence for the no-kill rule.

^ I can't find a clip online, but when Batman finishes his training with the League of Shadows, they tell him to execute a criminal and he said he won't do it. I think that was the most clear he said he wouldn't kill, and that is what he was referencing when he tells Ras he wouldn't kill him but doesn't have to save him.

Yup, but thats still not exactly the same as the no-kill rule.

"I will go back to Gotham and I will fight men like this, but I will not become an executioner."

By comparing that guy to the criminals in Gotham, and refusing to kill him the rule was implied if not specifically stated imo.
