It caught Surfer off-guard. Surfer in the background appeared to be doing better after the feedback was interrupted and Surfer regained his bearings. Arm'Chedon certainly characterized it as a victory on his part though.

He used Hulks power against him the same way he used Surfer power against him. The destruction on Hulks side was much more destructive.
