"We have also managed to learn more about Adelmo's activities during that time and why she killed Gene Lennah," Wentar adds. "Time is of the essence however, we have worked out where half of the Scrolls of Bandomino are and why Adelmo has not been able to claim them until now. However she may very well be on her way to do so right now."
(Damn! I wish I had been online yesterday. Andro would have dared Saar to go ahead and try right then and there, because he is tired of Saar's smugness. Probably would have had a bit of amusing back and forth. He's on Andro's list, though. The same one Father Varm and Seinar were on that Rianna's still at the top of.)
Andro stands quietly off to the edge of their group. The council chamber always makes him uncomfortable, even though his former Master, Saesee Tinn, is a member. Master Yoda can see right through you, seems to know or be able to divine your every thought, and Master Windu is probably the most frighteningly intense Jedi Andro has ever met.
He listens and observes carefully, and fervently hopes he is not called upon to speak.
Ah, sorry Andro- I did have a spiel ready for all that, but such is the way of things. Oh well, it doesn't matter anyway, because you are never going to see Saar again, what with him locked up in that totally unescapable prison and all.

"Hmmm..." says Yoda, once more.
"The Council senses enormous hazard in where your destiny is headed," says Ki-Adi Mundi. "More than we sensed before. This is beyond Adelmo."

That future is a black hole you you, Gallagher. Not even your normal inspiration when it comes to Adelmo is present.
Gallagher will share that with the Council.
"I must defer to the collective intuition of this Council," Gallagher admits with a tone of defeat, after trying to touch the Force and see if he shares what the Council senses ahead of them. "The Dark Side hides this from me."

Yes, such a shame. Andro will just have to live with the fact that a spot on his list will go unchecked. Unescapable prisons are unescapable after all.
"The thread posed by Adelmo has always been nebulous," says Ki-Adi Mundi. "A potential to be realised. Maybe what we sense is that she will find what she seeks- yet your report indicates she intends to find the way to in turn find her ultimate weapon, not the weapon itself."
"The danger we sense here is more realised," says Mace. "But the Dark Side is strong with it- we cannot identify it."
"We considered whether it was time for the Council itself to become involved," says Mundi. Windu finishes the thought.
"Yet... we are not yet quite ready to show desperation, and there is much for us to consider. We have decided to advance the task force, although it is far from ready. Master Scovione, what is the situation?"
"We've recalled as many missions in the central worlds that could be suspended without major repercussions- which is few in these days. I should be able to manage, say, two dozen Jedi?"
"It will have to do," says Windu.
Gallagher is stunned at how many Jedi the Council is willing to contribute to their mission. He does not know of a time in recent history that the Jedi Order has organized such a force of Knights.
"We will be grateful for the support," Gallagher says. "Does the Council feel that perhaps the Sith stand behind this threat?"
"Will this task force work along side us and at our direction?" Vera-Kin inquires. "Or will someone take the lead of such a large group of Jedi Knights?"
Vera-Kin can't remember such a gathering and her memory goes back much farther than Gallagher's. She also eyes Master Scovione, curious if the retired master intends to retake the field with them.
Xeth is astounded by the amount of support the Jedi Council is throwing their way, and worried that even the great Masters themselves considered taking the field against whatever it is they sense as threatening their mission, their Order, their Republic.
For all the talent in their group, however, he wouldn't have minded Master Windu lending his combat skills to the situation.
"We're grateful for this support," Xeth says. "I can't believe you even managed to pull in two dozen Knights to support our team."
He wonders too if there will be any familiar faces among the task force.
Xeth has probably thrown around that phrase bunches during his career, to label all sorts of awful criminal elements and corrupt politicians and corporations with ill intent, but the word "evil" carries more wait coming from Master Yoda.
"Whatever this evil might be, we'll neutralize it," Xeth says, trying to sound confident. "We're a formidable force already, and with the task force behind us... well, it's going to take a lot more than the Syphar N Kalar for Adelmo to win out over us."
