You can't read our minds, just our darkest fears.
I was angling to see if there was anything in particular that the corporate types were aware of Lennah doing anything strange/illegal, or if there was anything weird that happened before he hid.
She actually wants to know what their last meeting with him was like, last time they saw him, etc.
Ah, not hugely helpful then.

With the Senator, I think you might be over-complicating or thinking you have already asked for something that you actually have not. All we need is a thing that you reasonably believe that he can pitch to the Senate. So far, we've had ideas like
"Lennah was funding archaeological expeditions for old books." Not going to do much.
"Lennah is some super-hacker." He may be, but that's really just plucked out of the air on your part. You don't actually have any particular reason to think it.
"Lennah has been illegally trading." Completely speculative.
"Smuggling dangerous goods." Not only speculative, but you're not even dealing with anything that would legally be considered dangerous.
Other than what I thought Jelena was getting at, there was one angle you tried where the Senator showed interest because you virtually had something, but then you gave up on it.
Idea for the Senate pitch, 'Lennah is withholding information that threatens Republic security'. Using the loose logic of; Kara Katai was attacking historical Republic sites, including the Vault at Cassillis, Katai works for Adelmo, who's still out there, Lennah has met Adelmo before and may know more about her and her plans.

Thanks for the tip Ush! That'll help keep me on track.
'Did you know what sort of climates Lennah preferred when travelling to other worlds? Hot, cold, dry, moist?"
Yeah, you have no idea about Lennah murdering anyone. Like I say, you were very close earlier, just when you gave an example to the Senator you gave him one that wouldn't play out very well.
Is Lennah withholding such information? That's hard to tell until you ask him. Bit of a Catch 22, that one.

"Oh, Gene hated the cold!" she says.
Hmmm, maybe we should look back to find out what Lennah was doing before he started going into hiding? How his business was going, who he socialized with, etc? To try find the kind of information the Senator is looking for.
-
"So, given the choice, he'd be in a much warmer place," Wentar says. "Did he have any preference to what warm climates he did business near? Things like jungles or rain forests? Maybe a fascination with volcanoes... Perhaps he had an opinion on sand?"
Incidentally, guys, you had time here as the Dark Siders were taking time getting their fight sorted, but their fight is a good way through now, so we need to pick up some pace here!
Just go back over your convo with the Senator- you'll see the point where I indicated you were getting closer. It really is just a tiny step from there.

Never proven. However, Kuylen was responsible for all kinds of stuff within the time frame of the game. You only just cleared up one of the issues he caused in the previous episode!

Not the Hutts! No legitimate business would (admit to) doing business with them. The Feds- sure. Hard to avoid that, really.
The example we originally gave for his funding of organized crime was Kuylen. Maybe there is something that Kuylen did (in an appropriate time frame, since he is so well documented) that we could pin Lennah to?
I'd say maybe he funded Kuylen's mining operation but that doesn't seem very criminal either.
