Not that she saw. She wouldn't rule it out but it's the sort of thing he would not have let anyone else know about.

With the Senator (don't forget there are other routes to take apart from the Senator, btw), I am trying to point you in a certain direction that I thought Jelena was looking at earlier. There are multiple approaches, of course. In the end, the angle only has to be something that a. you reasonably believe (because as he said, you Jedi types will play it straight and would deny it when asked if it was untrue, so he needs something you would back) and b. would worry the public without seeming ridiculous (like Sith stuff).
Other than Jelena's angle, Kuylen is your best link there. Adelmo is an unknown but a lot of what Kuylen did is on record, irrelevant to the whole Sith angle.
