Rand has a sneaking suspicion that they will be around.Xavier, Con, and Galder being our pilots was what Rand had in mind. Rand will want Azarl nearby for a few reasons, but most importantly because he has Fix-It and will be one of the gambler piggy-backers.
So that makes Azarl our man (bug?) for shutting down the defenses and wiping info about us from Merik's computers and tracing communications between him and whoever set us up.
Everyone that isn't our pilots will be going up to Merik's floor once we gain access. We will need to neutralize his personnel and get Azarl access to the security system while putting Merik in our custody.
Then our pilots arrive and pick us up. Con and Galder fly interference while Xavier carries us away.
If you can that would be great as you could probably not only keep those defenses from shooting us but also lock down the Casino to keep reinforcements from getting to Merrik's main floor.
If they aren't Dak will probably have to sneak until he finds it and disable them.
Originally posted by General KalieroHe'll probably be doing both at some point but right now SFing to help the group blend in before we make our way to the Casino would be helpful to keep as little attention on us as possible until we want to make our moves.
So is Dak sneaking, or is he Savoir-Faire'ing?
Rand will be the first to approach, then! He will have Relle and Galder in tow, telling them to stay quiet and remember their roles. He will be wearing a fine suit with coat tails, something supplied by the Mecrossans, though his chestplate over his cybernetic heart is still apparent. His lightsaber (and Galder's) is concealed in his suit jacket.
Well, the entrance area is a palace in of itself, even before you get into the building. We have golden structures all around, lights, music, dancing girls, aliens from dozens of different cultures... even those not wanting to go in seem to bask in the reflected glory of those around. Expensive vehicles pull up and disgorge new rich and powerful guests into the area, some of who slip in quite quickly, others hang around outside for a time, enjoying the entertainments or making a scene.
As for the entranceway itself, you are soon aware of several important things. The large and obvious doormen, chosen fro burly alien species. The less obvious but clearly present security en, standing to the sides or in te background, gun holsters on display, keeping watch on those trying to get in. And the very large and obvious scanners that everyone is passing through on the ay in, checking for weapons.
Or go without them for now. We would need to find a way to smuggle them in when we're moving to take Merik, though.
Can any alternative route be seen, Ush? Maybe give all of our sabers to some stealthy (like Rianna and Relle) and have them meet us inside after crawling through vents or dodging the scanners somehow...
I'd prefer to not leave them behind, because there's no guarantee we'd be able to find another way to smuggle them in later.
Finding another way for Rianna and Relle to sneak in might be a good idea, though the mental picture of them sneaking through vents while all dressy is hilarious.
Are there any other ways in that we can tell?
