(That's right she did open up a little bit about it somewhat I figured she may have opened up some more)

Xavier thinks for a moment before realizing what he was asking,"...I'm sorry I forgot you don't seem to like talking about that time frame. Instead let me ask what do you like to do for fun?"

Xavier offers as bit of a joke.

She opened up to tell you that nearly everyone she knew there was dead. It was not meant as an invitation to pry.

"Life isn't about fun," she says.

"What do you think life is about? Also you find nothing enjoyable at all or do you not consider fun and enjoyment the same?" Xavier asks trying to have a somewhat good conversation for once.

"That's something you have t discover for yourself- if you can ever muster the insight."

"Hey now I've been mustering it. I actually have been thinking about that a lot since our conversation on purpose, and definitely since our last adventure when I helped save a good part of our group. It's the main reason I came to you to help sharpen my mind. To help give me better tools to work with."

Xavier points a finger to his temple.

How many levels are there and does it seem like movement to the second level is very limited, do we have to get past additional security?

There are several levels, but we'll really just break it into the 'lower' levels just above you, and the 'top' level that is your ultimate aim.

Like I said to Rand, it's not getting up to the lower levels that is the problem, it is getting up there and then not doing anything that would look odd.

Well, first Gallador will look around the lowest level, maybe try a game or two to get into the flow around. Does he notice/sense any exceptional people like I mentioned before?

Well you actually have a very road choice. The lower casino levels forma fabulous multi-world gambling complex. You have your standard environments, of course, but they also have the likes of an area with an atmosphere poisonous to humans but breathable by most aliens, an underwater area for aquatic species, and even a super-low pressure area for aliens unsuitable for standard atmospheres. All of which are in in fabulous gold and red, though with a little more dignity than the pulsingly loud pleb level you are currently on.

In turn, each of those areas is split into several different stylistic areas- one for the more spectator-y events like roulette and craps, one for the more socially intense card games like New Pazaak (which is basically baccarat in this game- the 'new' part of 'New Pazaak' being when they dropped the collectible element of it thousands of years ago), and one area where they hold some of the more skill-based Poker equivalents, though to make any money off of those they level hefty entry fees to play.

Hmm, so let's try a game of New Pazaak first. Is there any way that Eller can help with her Seer powers?

Nope!

Okay, let's try a game and try to socialize with the gamblers.

Rand will choose one of the games that is a little more spectator-oriented, so that he can watch some of the gamblers in action and probe the cast of characters he'll find at this stage.

It will be Savoir-Faire rolls to look like you are part of the observing crowd- for everyone who tries it.

"So what do you suggest we do now, now that we've gotten inside?" Rianna asks Azarl quietly. "I'm better at sneaking around and hiding than trying to look like I belong somewhere..."

"Maybe you should use that to observe," Azarl suggests to the swordswoman. "I cannot do such things, however. The gifts I was given at birth make me too obvious a specimen even in these crowds."

Can Azarl try to get into the Pazaak stuff since it is more social and he is more likely to meet people?

If you are willing to make the necessary social rolls!

Is slinking around unseen an option? Galder can fit the bill easily enough with Savoir-Faire for lurking wherever Rand is, but Relle can't.

Not on the pubic gambling floors- everyone is in plain sight of everyone else, and cameras are everywhere.

Btw, the Pazaak area is a little removed from the other areas- as with Baccarat, it's a surprisingly high stakes game. People make absurd bets on the results of games in progress. Seriously Gambling stuff there.

Then you should find serious gamblers there right 😛
