USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

I feel like maybe our non-SF people could be doing something else somewhere else, so as not to be obvious. Maybe talking to people on the lowest level to get an idea of things we should be looking for in talented gamblers up here, see if there are any names we should know.

So it seems like Gallador has no business trying even the lower level games? He will buy one of the players that looks most competent a drink and try to socialize a bit.

You can throw some money at a game if you like! They all seem to be pure chance to you.

Well, let's try a bit as an approach to socialize with these people. It is mostly the scum at the lower levels, right?

That's probably a good approach. That way you don't look strange just talking to random gamblers, and you can get a feel for their talents or whatever we're looking for.

Galder will just hang with Rand and observe, keeping a watchful eye on anyone looking at us funny.

It's not quite scum-ville here, no- it is serious and respectful gambling, with a dress code and the like. People have to make an effort. But it's open access, with no minimum stakes beyond the rules of the game.

So, can we assign which groups (or people from groups if they need to split up) are where and doing what? A nice list is always appreciated...

Well Xavier doesn't have SF so does that mean he is going to stick out like a sore thumb where ever he goes Ush?

Also sneaky people need to get sneaky at some point, especially Dak as he has both Fix-It and Intrusion which is probably the most helpful combination to have when trying to figure out someone else's security systems right?

Is anyone going to hang out downstairs so as not to cause us problems talking to people upstairs?

You aren't going to look much like a casual gambling punter, no. Which is not 'instant fail'. You just aren't comfortable in drawing attention to yourselves.

However! There will be xp penalties for people that do nothing in this section, much as I make less combat capable people do combats...

Well I guess Xavier looking like a gambler isn't a problem since he isn't the one trying to pull that off.

Although I'm starting to wonder if we should have left some people back at the ship 😛

Ush if Xavier stayed downstairs would that help Gallador do his thing upstairs?

Well, you won;t look much like whatever it is you want to be, You'd look, pretty much, like someone trying to do over the casino.

Do you mean would getting out of Gallador's way make his life easier? Maybe, but that still counts as you doing nothing.

Galder, Relle, Vic (if he's around) just stay with me. If we have issues, we'll work them out. Risks will have to be made if we want to get anything done and not waste our manpower and talents.

Rand is going to get into the observation areas for the more spectator-oriented gambling arrangements.

Azarl is willing, so he'll try his hand with Pazaak and be social. Even though he is awkward, he needs to brush elbows with the type of people we want.

Relle will stick with Rand, for better or for worse. No sense splitting us up in this place.

Yup, staying with Rand.

Whoa, sorry folks, the old essay crunch has delayed me again.

'Observation area' was formalising it too much in retrospect, Rand., What I actually mean is 'loud crowd of people around the gambling'. It;s a very close contact area and moody dark siders don't like being pushed. Which game will you watch?

-

Azarl- good lord, this game moves fast! And you're expected to be the dealer sometimes, it seems. Or the bank. Err. Are you going to bet a little or a lot?

Let's have a gander at the roulette games.

Bet a little. Azarl doesn't have the know-how to pretend to be the big spender.

Anyone seem prominent so far?

"I'm going to see what else there is to do here," Rianna says to Azarl. She's going to leave under the guise of simply seeing what games the casino has, though in reality she's looking for some sort of security office or something of the sort down here so they can potentially figure out a way to get their lightsabers in.

Relle wants to see if there is any sort of social lounge where people can just by drinks and talk. She gives Rand a kiss on the cheek and tells him she hates his guts.

She smooths out her tight black dress as she walks, trying to play up her figure since she doesn't have the talent for seduction.
