There are a lot of them. What are you looking for?

Rand- to keep it simple, I'm going to divide it high/low on money and risk. Which on each?

Confidence. Someone who seems comfortable playing this game.

I think I just played low/low? So let's go high on money, low on risk.

Ok!

For those wanting an idea of the rate of play at Pazaak, I'll refer you to James Bond's iconic fist scene on film:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRm5Vfmn6Ew

They complete three full rounds of Baccarat in under a minute.

(sadly, they switched it to Poker in the film of Casino Royale, which is really considered rather vulgar in European casinos- not to mention poor on profit)

Rianna is going to control herself from attacking the clumsy lout, and move away from him. Because as tempting and fun as it'd be, starting a fight this early would just sink everything.

What about my post?

Dark Side time!

Rianna- you will gain a bonus Force Point for this story if you attack that man.

-

It's a straight Force roll from Rand... a win! You actually get a couple of cheers there, Rand, as people noticed your high bid. Still, soneone just won on longer odds, and that got them more money. You feel YOU should be the centre of attention...

... and hence Rand can only bid High/High for the remainder of this time here, due to Megalomania. Spend a Force Point to snap out of it.

Galder- that's a Perception/Observation roll, not your strong point. Nothing showing up yet.

-

Gallador- ok, you're in on the next round! Strong minds are difficult to sense on the hop, as it's such a nebulous term. It;s more something you notice when things like Persuade don't work on them. Emotions are easier. You can tell when players around you are tense- but tense what reason, you can't say.

Then Rand will play another round, and bet High/High!

Did Xavier manage to spot Eller anywhere?

You're horrible, tempting me like that.

No.

Hmm since there's no meeting area for Relle to socialize in, she will just join Galder and Rand at the pazaak table.

She keeps an eye out for anyone who seems to be making a great deal of money on this game.

Gallador is interested in only those people that radiate strong emotions who are also winning.

Galder will keep watching. He doesn't really want to create a scene by trying to talk with people.

Vic is observing Rand making bets at the game. While he doesn't know him well enough to realize its megalomania at play, he does remind him to be wise with the money.

"Don't... blow all of it at once."

Xavier- nope, and you just bumped into a group of aliens, who bark something at you in a language you have no idea about.

-

Ok, Rand's starting to lose a lot of money! That wasn't the number he thought it was. He's pretty sure that if he keeps trying and trusts his instincts, he's bound to get it all back...

-

Rianna- the alien is asking you something, and you don't understand.

-

Guys, I keep asking- why do you keep looking for people MAKING money? What possible angle would you have with someone successful?

Well, are people that cannot make money at the lowest level of any use to us with getting higher?

"I'm sorry, I don't understand whatever it is you're saying," she replies.

Galder is going to shift his attention to someone who seems frustrated (that isn't Rand) by their inability to win.

Though maybe Rand shouldn't be gambling any more of our money away... can Galder take over?

Xavier says he is sorry as he backs up hoping they understand him.

Losing Eller is bad but he is going to make Perception check on the Security to see what they are doing.

Yes, but they're also less likely to cooperate with us. What would they need us for if they already got the green?

Meanwhile Vic chastises Rand some on his splurging.

"You're... going to waste it all... and then we'll be up a creek without a paddle..."
