Unfortunately, using Presence to distract is an active thing, which normally is not a problem but in this case it would come at the same time as you are trying to manipulate the ball. Getting attention away from you would be handy, though.

Relle has Presence. I could use it to distract while Rand cheats.

Well does distract work like Obi-Wan used it in ANH? Relle can try to do that by making some sort of noise with the Force that draws attention away from the table. While nobody is looking, Rand can give it a go.

It works on people's minds, not making an actual noise (unless you force push something over). You're not going to be able to affect the whole crowd.

So I need to target specific people that would be watching Rand or the table. The croupier? And probably the players next to him.

Galder heads back to his ship, hoping that the casino will still be there when he returns to it.

Well, Rianna will try and slip away before security gets there...even when she's clearly done nothing wrong she doesn't want to deal with them.

Sorry, Rianna, no amount of slipping away will help here, as you've already been spotted as the situation heated up. Sadly this is not Hutt space where customer brawls are just part of the exciting backdrop.

Galder- a little while later you are back on the ship. The person sending the message did not leave a recording and did not wait. Instead, there is an indication for you to make contact with the sender (unidentified) as soon as possible. Apparently you'll need to link into a particular comms relay network to make contact.

Relle- I'll allow an Observation roll to spot the right time to distract particular people on that basis. It's more complex than normal, so a Force roll for the distraction itself as well.

Could Xavier say he is from the Outer Rims and that his boss has his information?

I'm afraid failing a Lie roll gives a cascade penalty on trying to lie further.

Okay, did I finish my game? If so, Gallador may try to socialize a bit with the players to learn more about their attitudes, in particular if they feel anything about Marik.

Unless I need to go to salvage the Xavier situation.

And yes Gallador MAY have to come help Xavier out of this one.

He asked where you are from, not where you were born, so saying anything other than 'Epireus' is either a lie or so vague that he'd just ask again to make you more specific.

Gallador is still playing and won;t get there right now, Xavier. I'll need a mover from you or you'll be arrested.

Can I tell which comms relay network that refers to? Is that something that Galder can easily check on and then do?

I'm willing to give it a go if Rand is. I'm not as awful at this as Galder would be. Do I get a bonus on the Force roll from Presence too?

This is sort of a gamble (hah) but let's go for it.
