Rianna doesn't have the social skills but she could translate for me if someone could pester her. Otherwise Azarl is kind of dead ended and I don't want to ruin things by having Gallador help me.

Sorry, been a bit busy but I'm here.

Rianna can act as a translator for Azarl for the time being. Until she gets bored with it, anyway.

Ahh, and have you ever seen Eller and Relle in the same place at the same time?

Actually yes, so, so much for that plot idea...

-

Ah, ok Rand, you are telling Breko of the one million goal. He'd love to play as a high roller, and he reckons that if you are nice and careful he could hit a million with no suspicion in, say, five days?

-

Ok so we have a translator for Azarl- which is certainly the basic requirement- but I'll still need a relevant social skill!

-

It so happens that Relle finds Eller first. That's not a slight on Galder's observation, more a comment on where she is, as she is in a stall in the bathroom. I have no idea what Star Wars bathrooms ar elike, but I imagine there are a lot of lights in them.

Relle will approach Eller.

"Why did you disappear on us?" Relle asks the precognitive little girl. "We were worried."

Is this assuming you are kicking the door in? That can be considered rude.

"I need it by tomorrow," Rand tells Breko.

"Tomorrow?!" says Brekk, horrified. "But... they'll get suspicious if I start turning large numbers that quickly! They'll just throw me out in the end."

While Relle could probably do that really easy, she will just knock on the stall.

What you hear when you do that is the distinctive sound of a shower of hard objects tumbling on the tiled floor...

Rand shakes his head.

"Oh Breko," Rand says. "We'll avoid that unpleasant result, I assure you."

That is a legitimate concern on his part, though. Rand will have to consider how to hide the rapid increase in Breko's gambling talent, or how to deal with those keeping tabs on him.

"Eller..." Relle says, knocking again, more firmly. "Answer me. What's going on?"

I could try rolling off of the stat. I have Presence to boost me. It'd be a Hard roll right?

Rianna's a decent liar...

So what's our lie then?

Galder will wait patiently outside while Relle handles things, I suppose. Don't need to be thrown out as a pervert.

Indeed, if it is a lie, I'll need a pitch on the lie.

-

"You're breaking my concentration," says Eller.

-

Rand- those keeping tabs on him would be pretty much the entire organisation. You're not quite that good. As soon as he starts making a succession of wins, he'll be shut out.

"There's only one way to make that plan work," says Breko. "I can't make a succession of wins. You'll have to give me the money to throw it all on one giant stake- and have me win it."

How does Rand feel about that? Any alarms going off?

The theory is fine. But a. you have to m ake enough money for the initial stake and b. you only get one shot at making it work or you lose the lot.

Okay, so it seems Azarl and Rianna will manage together - can Gallador now get back to his interrupted game?

Nope, you lost your place in that game.

Well, Azarl will try lying and hope that Rianna can translate.

"You're a good gambler," Azarl says. "I am a priest who needs to raise money for my church. I cannot gamble, so I need someone who knows how. I can make sure you win, too."

Azarl will try the roll. If that's not enough of a Lie, he'll still try it as a Persuade.
