USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Galder certainly is not content to wait and figure out what the Bureau is doing here, and he is more than confident that they'll start to pursue if Galder and the others take off. They can certainly outrun the Bureau cruiser as they have before, but they definitely cannot outrun its correspondence scanner. They'll have the ships tracked and they'll trace us back to Epireus.

Meaning Galder wants to trash the whole thing...

Could that be done, Ush? If the three of us went and just destroyed the ship? Maybe set it to jump into hyperspace within the starport just like in the good old days.

You may wish to remember the crew compliment that Ascar said the Bureau had.

Moreover, they've used a transport craft to land. The Bureau space vessels themselves are large ships and don't make landings.

All that said- a transponder lock from the Bureau would indeed be a problem! It's not easy to sort that out.

I shall be passing time soon regardless, I feel!

I believe on Newhaven we did something to scramble them picking up our transponders, right? Or we tried, at least. Using comlinks and a high-powered transmitter.

Actually, don't they already have our signals?

Rand wants to bide his time... I'm wondering if it is possible that if the Osokans attack us, it'll be seen as them attacking patrons of the casino and security will act with us? I want to see what happens and continue helping Rhiso gamble first.

I thought we got new ones from that floating space ship vender guy.

Sorry, for some reason I cannot properly get back into this game recently.

Ush, if the game my gambler plays is mostly luck based, than it should not be that hard to influence it with Force? Simple telekinesis could manipulate the dice...

I do not think that we should be attacking Bureau ships, we cannot fight them. Just be on watch and alert.

Indeed it can- the problem is doing it unobserved. Doubly so with the Bureau on-scene.

But they know how we look anyway, so perhaps we should favor speed over caution.

What about using Presence to draw less attention while cheating?

It's also very important that, if anything kicks off up here, that gambler is well out of the way beforehand, Gallador.

Presence for distraction is always viabke.

Maybe Relle can help get him clear. And maybe we could combine our efforts to distract from Gallador's manipulation? We all have Presence I think.

Just to note, of course, that helping Gallador does not help you in any way at all.

Currently I'm not doing much so I'm not sure if there's something I could be doing to get Relle in a better position for the fighting. She is not going to help one of the gamblers much because she will probably get caught.

Though she is really sneaky so Intrusion + Presence might be still worth trying... I'm not sure.

So my gambler needs money to leave the Casino? Then I will gladly use Relle's help in distracting opponents and spectators while I help my gambler have luck in dice.

Still not content to sit tight, Galder will explore his options for jamming the transponder tracking from the Bureau. Is that even something he could do, Ush?

Xavier will help Galder with this.

Well, transponders are designed to transmit, so without knackering your own one you can't do much from your side. To interfere with them, you need to be close to their reader.

Your only option you can consider is that you torpedo their comms equipment on their ship in orbit before they get a good read.

We could try and sneak on their ship and disable it correct?

Is there a way we can Hack the starport and see if we can perhaps make it harder for them to take off when we get the signal?

Their ship is in space! It's a landing craft in the spaceport.

There are no hangar bay doors at the starport or the like, so I am not quite sure how you were planning to block them. But by that point, you don't actually care about the landing vessel anyway.

A direct torpedo hit might be what we need to do... we've always been fleeing for our lives from a ton of enemies. Galder is more than happy to make a bombing run on that thing and knock out the scanner.
