USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Started by REXXXX227 pages

Galder scans for a cluster of turbolasers and locks in with his targeting computer. He toggles over to his proton torpedoes and begins his attack run, determined to start things off with a literal bang.

Shouldn't The New Beginning have 100 armor?

Hmm, I cannot use Bewilder or one Osokan attacking me and attack at the other one?

Did Merik escape?

I think he just holed up in his office.

Gallador, you should finish off Osokan F. Ush gifted you the already injured swine.

Rand, despite his nerves burning inside his body, keeps up his fight. He turns his Focus on an Osokan and attack it, parrying the snaps of its whip and stabbing at it with his saber.

"Which one of you claims Captainship now?!" Rand yells, triumphant over the Captain.

Whoops, mixed up the ship armour ratings there- edited.

I'm afraid Bewilder counts as an attack so you can't do both, no.

Gallador shared Rand's joy from victory over the Captain but it was shortlived. There were stilll surrounded by enemies and Rand seemed badly injured. And the place was on fire...nothing new, carnage sourrounded them wherever they went.

He focused his attention at the pig attacking him, his saber clashing with his whip. He looked at him, again using his superior will to weaken resolve behind his attacks.

I attack Osokan F, again using Staredown if hit.

So if they have a pool of 8 per attack and I have a Maneuverability of 6, does that mean they only roll 2 dice? I might be misunderstanding that.

In any case, Azarl will test defenses by raising his Maneuverability by two and use his remaining dice to take shots at the casino's defenses.

Xavier will skirt behind Azral and attempt to finish off anything he doesn't take out.

He also see if the Seer(What was her name again?) is manning one of the turrets.

It's a refresh!

Well, Osokans are tough sods- you all get hits but nothing that downs anyone. I've had to force a guard tap on Rand to keep him up.

Rand and Relle will have to tell me what to refresh.

You are correct, Azarl- it's not at all easy for fixed lasers to hit a fast-moving ship. Not very easy for you to hit back either, as with a pool of four you socre just two successes, whilst Galder and Xavier line up on their runs...

Rand stays up until 50 damage now. Remember my Strength increase? I'm not quite as flimsy these days.

What would my damage be without the Focused Guard tap?

I'm going to refresh Orthodox Guard and Cleave.

Trusting his ship's shields to hold this early in the battle, Galder lets the flak come before dropping in on his target - a dense cluster of turbolaser batteries - and dropping a torpedo directly in the center. He then pulls up on the throttle, whisking through the flames.

Refresh Riposte and Orthodox Guard. Bring in Orthodox Guard, put out Duck.

Relle will bring her saber around and finish off the attack on Osokan E, intending to cut him clear in half.

Spend a point on Evade against one Osokan attack.

Azarl continues his evasive flying, putting his ship into rolls to avoid target locks from the guns below. He then chooses a turret and fires off some lasers.

One point into Maneuverability this time.

I will finish Osokan F and spend last force point on staredown again.

Ah, ok, you'd be on 43 hits without the tap, Rand.

Xavier makes his run.

As you are locked into your own conflicts now, I can move on without Rand and bank his turn. This turn I really do have to tap his guard though!

Try as he may, Gallador cannot quite finish his main target. Relle finally downs hers, however!

Bombs away for Xavier and Galder! Xavier rolls one success- a miss, I am afraid, You blew the heck out of that advertising board though.

Two successes from Galder is a hit, and ten damage! Add three points from Azarl to that.

Seeing as I've held off spending any Force points this whole story...

Galder will put a point of Guidance into that roll, to make three successes and a much more effective explosion.

After dropping his bomb, Galder brings his fighter about and continues the assault, toggling over to his heavy cannons and blasting away at any turbolaser that dares try to target him.

One point into Manueverability, the rest into blowing things up.
