I'll say the penalties apply afterwards, yes.

Gallador rolls agility like the rest of you!

Starfighter guys- seems like the folks in the towe r are taking their time! You need to be planning for a rapid evac/exit. What's the intricate, clever plan of awesome going to be?

Since Xavier's ship possesses the bulk and space enough to carry the three in the tower, he will need to make the pick-up. Galder and Azarl can fly cover for Xavier as he pulls up to grab them from the casino, if we've still got fighters in the air against us. If no fighters remain, we strafe the turrets and anti-aircraft defenses again.

Then off we go before any further reinforcements arrive.

Sounds like a solid plan.

How will they know where you are (or vice versa)?

Are we able to Coordinate with our comms?

If not there is always the Force right 😄

Mean sof communication is not necessarily the problem (though how busy they are a the time may be).

It's more that you can't see each other. "I'm just outside the window' is a bit vague for a pickup.

Does it look like they could make it to the roof?

The roof is sloped but potentially standable-onable- whether there's a way up is impossible to tell from out there.

Can we tell if there is an uppermost room with large windows, aside from the big blown-out window they were just by? Somewhere they could reasonably reach from within.

It all seems to be small, personal windows from there on up.

Well, I guess the rest of you are making your rolls, and they go very unsurprisingly! Relle gets halfway up toward the elevator car and has a safe perch on the side; Gallador is about a third of the way up, but Rand only a quarter. Jumping again from your climbing positions is near impossible (though you can try).

Relle will attempt a second jump, springing off of the wall and higher up the shaft.

(If anyone can attempt it, it's Relle)

The roof looks like the best landmark but we just can't see if they can get up there or not.

Azarl readies himself to take on fighters.

Rand will climb! He's in no shape to try another leap. He tries not to throw childish worried looks behind him, relying on his senses to tell him if danger comes his way.

SO, Ush, what are my chances for leaping vs climbing?

Actually, I believe that while Gallador is out of Force points, he can still use his Lucky Merit. He will try to make an epic jump and, if he does not make it entirely, he will look for something to grab.

I am all for coordingating pickup with our space team, but we need to try to get Merik first.

Maybe they could tell us what floor they get off on and then they can tell us which side of the building they really on.

Leaping is indeed very dangerous though being Lucky helps. Mind you, we mau end up with a lost sheep at the back here...

The big problem is getting any upward momentum as you are not standing on a floor- even Jedi-types need something to stand on to jump upwards (unlike someone else involved in this scenario). So even from Relle, I need what her actual jumping plan is- how is she going to get momentum and what is she aiming for?

Could she find something to pull herself up with, a la Obi-Wan in the pit when fighting Maul?

I believe the technical term is 'sticky out bit'. The shaft is dark so it needs Perception + Observation to find; a failed roll wastes time.

I'm not too bad at that, I'm game to try.

Also, the elevator doesn't have cables we could grab on to, does it? Thinking more for the others.

They are a possible, though precarious, hanging point.
