USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

"As I said- information about the outside galaxy.

"Of the two choices, Adelmo leaned towards the second; end their isolation and open up. Except her version of it was rather more radical than the assembly had intended. Adelmo felt it was time to bring the Harmony to everywhere else. Not by understanding- but by force. If the outside world presented a threat, then it needed to be found and destroyed. No chances taken."

"So she decides to Harmonize the Galaxy by force... you make it sound like some of the assembly do not like this decision? But you said they don't act unless they are sure of something. If Ademlo is chosen to act how could they decide against that decision? "

Xavier turns to Eller , " Where do you fit into all of this?"

"Oh, they were sure that Adelmo was wrong. But she was... insistent."

Eller's upstairs checking stones right now.

"By insistent I assume you mean forceful? So what happens next?" Once Xavier hears Asacr's answer he wants to go talk to Eller and ask her the see how she is doing with the stone readings. Ask her the same question he was going to ask before.

"Insistent enough that when the Assembly tried to silence her, she turned to war to have her way, and that's when the planet began destroying itself. I left shortly after that started; it was less interesting then."

"Thank you for your informative information Ascar," Xavier will take his leave and go to where Eller is.

If she is busy with the stones Xavier will wait for her to either address him or until she looks like she is done. He will fill in her in on what Ascar told him.

"That was quite a series of events. I was wondering what your story was in all of this?"

"Two other things that may interest you, though..." says Ascar, as you make to leave.

Relle finds it hard to believe that Ascar just gave her information...

"What might that be?" Relle says, still listening to Ascar's storytelling though Xavier seems to want to go talk to his stone-reading girlfriend.

Ascar, btw, is always smartly dressed in suits in various dark shades of blue, which sets off well against his white hair (his is white from age, before you worry). He strolls around when he talks, often looking out the window at the Coruscant skyline. Sometimes he will make some move in your direction, staring intently at some aspect of your gear, or moving to brush some dust off your shoulder (if you disallow this, he merely shrugs).

"Thalos is a large planet; it had many ideas. When I was just leaving, they had another, simpler prediction they though would help them. They had predicted the imminent birth of a Seer- one of their dark-haired births specialised in prediction. This Seer was predicted to be the most gifted in many generations. Handy when a prophecy is your greatest issue. I would imagine she was brought up all her life in a similar fashion to Adelmo- not to solve the prophecy, but to understand it."

Xavier will have halted to listen Ascar's parting words, "Those things are of interest."

Xavier will walk to where Eller is at.(this time for real)

He watches her decipher her stones or waits outside if she asks him to. He does not wish to interrupt her so he waits until she is done or until she engages him.

After she is finished Xavier smiles and begins to talk to her, "I hope the stones have brought you good news. I was just having a history lesson with Ascar. It was about Thalos and what happened to it. About Adelmo and what she is."

Xavier uses a more somber voice, "And about a Seer with great power. Prophesied to understand a great problem." Xavier pauses for a second, "What was it like...growing up in that environment?"

Relle will stay and let Xavier go talk to his girlfriend.

"I'm assuming this Seer is our very own Eller Jey," Relle says, musing not for the first time that Eller's name is Relle's backwards and wondering if that's some quirk of the Force or some other coincidence.

"I can't say for sure," says Ascar. "But the Jedi report into Thalos says that when Adelmo as finally forced to flee- having causing the levelling of about a third of the planet- one of the people she took with her was a young Seer. It seems to fit."

-

"Didn't you ever want to have a purpose?" says Eller, not moving or acknowledging you in any other way.

"Eller hasn't been very forthcoming about any of this. Had you met her on Thalos? Or do you know anything about whether or not her talent as a Seer helped the Thalossians any? Adelmo obviously persuaded Eller to see things her way, at some point."

As Ascar noted, he left before she was born.

"As the Jedi report that the Assembly was still trying to work out the Prophecy when they arrived, it seems the problem is not solved. They had moved to a militant defensive posture when the Jedi arrive, but apparently at the expense of some freedom; the Jedi aided a more liberal faction to overcome the militants and now the debate begins anew.

"But if Eller is this Seer, then I imagine she is doing the same task she was always made for."

"Understanding the prophecy through her own prophecies," Galder says. "One handful of dropped stones at a time."

"Yes when I was at the temple I thought I had purpose. Now I'm starting to want it again," Xavier responds. "It seems like you've had purpose your whole life. Was there ever a time you didn't want it?"

"Prophecy is a road," says Ascar. "It leads you in a direction, and perhaps this is where Thalos has issues, as they aren't really travellers. Eller would seem to be following the road she sees."

"Who would not want to save their people?" says Eller. "I don't think it matters if I wanted it or not."

"Not too many people wouldn't want to save their people," Xavier says. "Is this why you've taken an interest in us? We have something to do with the fate Thalos? I'd like to know because I wish to help you if I can."

"It's possible. I will have to see what you do. I need to learn more."

"What pieces are you missing?"
