USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Started by Herr Rob227 pages

Vic doesn't think he should let himself get surrounded by lame old epireans while droidekas are shooting at him, so he'll throw big logs and rocks and sharp sticks at them, too.

On the side, what's the validity of using Fling to throw a Droideka at another? Or at some epireans?

Or hell, using the force to drop a tree on top of a group of badguys? Assuming Galder and Gallador's asses aren't in the way 😛

... for future reference, of course.

Fling is not good on droidekas- too stable. In any case, you can't cheat the system like that so the answer would be no anyway. Attacks do damage to one target unless you have a multi-targeting power.

You can use Combat Push on multiple mooks if you have Twirl as well, and in very bombard-suitable locations Bombard can hit multiple foes as well- but no such rule here I am afraid.

"Don't get surrounded" is excellent thinking but there are rather a lot of them.

And what if I stop going that direction, out of the base? What do I feel then?

Rand is incredibly concerned and probably sweating from nervousness at this point.

Well there's nothing else to do down here... I'd rather be able to actively participate in events than just wait it out and potential suffocate down here.

Better when you stop, because doing that is certain death.

As is, at this point, heading back to the control room.

Yeah they're luring us outside.

If Azarl uses Combat Push does it give him AND Xavier bonuses on attacks?

Nope.

Okay. Well Azarl is going to Bodyguard Xavier (swap Charge for Bodyguard) and keep attacking the Big Gun, now that he and Xavier have done significant damage to him.

Multi-hit bombard not suitable in a jungle? Pffft. Ah well, no biggie.

If we put ourselves in the midst of the Epireans, will the droidekas keep on committing friendly fire?

Nope, though I'll limit maximum attacks on you.

All Xavier gets there is a rather embarrassing 'bonk' sound when he punches the guy's armour. He does completely dodge the second dart fired by staff guy, but gun man goes for Azarl instead, though again only getting one hit (for 7) He only just hits, too.

-

Suffering from pool penalty, Dak's first hit is rather weak there; the second is better. He takes a 7 point hit from his opponent this time though... who has now backed out of the door.

-

I am assuming Gallador and Galder continue their tactics; there's not much choice in it at this point anyway. Another droideka is down whilst Vic takes out one of the melee guys coming at him.

Things now turn nasty. 10 droidekas are firing at you now, with the extra attack this turn on Gallador. Then each of you also gets three Epireans attacking you, though only two for Vic this turn as he killed one. Each of you gets a bonus kill on an Epirean because they fluffed an attack on you in melee- always dangerous against a lightsabre- but they are doing damage to you as well. Now you are locked in.

Rianna- force senses say: As soon as you get within sight of the door, you will be within sight of the sniper.

Not that you really need Force senses to have got that; where else was he going to cover? He's not found it hard to predict you.

"This isn't good," Galder says to Gallador.

How many do we need to kill to break out of this mess? Because staying here isn't high on the list of 'places we can survive.'

You can start running, but if you don't have a safe disengage it ain't going to be pretty!

(I did give copious warnings about running earlier. I think Vic's could not have been clearer- he got the feeling to run away immediately!)

Xavier gives a slight shake of his hand.

Bright idea smart man. Which class was that break your hand 101

With Azral covering him with Bodyguard Xavier reignites his lightsabers and goes to cut down Gun Man again

That's not a problem for Galder. Vic and Gallador I'm not sure about.

WELL.

THIS IS KIND OF BAD.

But I did some reading up on Wookiepedia!

Droidekas have a few flaws we could exploit.

We could knock them over with a force push, which would cause their shield generators to bug out.

We could kill the mooks and then RUN FOR OUR LIVES because Dekas are terrible at actually chasing things down. Plus, they have to lower their shields to actually move.

Or we could close the distance between us and them, because Deka blaster arms have limited range of motion and can't fire at things close to them.

THOUGHTS, GENTS?

Knocking them over is not an option- if it were that easy, it would have happened in TPM, so that's clearly not true. Also as far as the system is concerned, they can shoot up close.

Bring in WS for TW.

Any chance of using Pull to snag the datapad from him?
