USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Physical things can be rebuilt. Those are easy to replace, if not time consuming. Would he prefer all of his people killed?

With respect, he doesn't agree- it is you they are here for. If he does not defend against Ogros, Ogros will kill all of his people.

Gee, they seem to have happily killed all of them on their way up in Edana's vision!

Your guards, sure, and any settlements that would have seen their approach. But Ogros has a small army out there ready to destroy Firak's entire setup.

In game terms, if you force Firak to bring all his men to defend you, you will permanently lose access to your Epireans because Ogros will kill them.

We were only talking about the settlements in the first place, not all of Firak's men, though.

Or at least, that's what I was talking about.

You were talking about bringing in Firak's forces! He needs them- including the men you are currently with- to defend against Ogros. If he leaves his lands defenceless, Ogros will destroy the lot.

He's also very concerned by your idea that they are going to attack his settlements. He appreciates your magic powers that have forewarned you, but he has absolutely no idea why they would do that- why fight more people than they need to? But if it is going to happen, he wants to evacuate his people.

Rex was, which I missed. I've been only talking about bringing up everyone from the settlements on the mountain - I never said anything about all of his forces.

If you are talking about his people, he objects to you just bringing the women and children up there to be killed. If you are talking about his warriors, he will say again- he needs them to defend against Ogros! Just because you've turned around, it doesn't mean Ogros is going to go away. Ogros may not attack your at your base, but he'll still go for Firak.

He wants to organise as many warriors as he can for defence, and if you are certain the invaders are going to attack his settlements- for whatever reason- he wants to move everyone out.

He wants to move equipment out too, unless you want Ogros stealing all the technology you've given Firak over time.

Orogos will have the Droidkas with him won't he?

You think he has a droid control unit stashed somewhere?

Those are legitimate concerns. We don't want Ogros gathering the technology we've given Firak and we don't want to lose access to our Epireans. Galder is not going to make his people stick around just to be murdered; it's a waste of resources.

Is he willing to loan us any men for the defense of our base?

Well, you have about 25 guards there on your guard posts. He reckons he can give you another 25.

Is there any way he can give an extra 50 in exchange for something? Maybe more technology?

... well now... that depends on the offer...

What kind of stuff have we already given him?

I seem to remember it was hi-tech melee weapons and heaters- possibly some more. As far as I remember, no firearms.

"Give me an extra fifty and I'll get you blasters," Galder says. "Give me an extra hundred and I'll give you that, and this..."

Galder presents the lightsaber of his own design.

"... and I'll teach you to use it."

Firak's eyes light up- though even he recognises his limits.

"That is the weapon of a chosen one," he says. "Not for the likes of us. But the blasters..."

I will, of course, need a group read on this. Will you arm the Epireans with guns? It has consequences.

What kind of consequences?

If we do, we should probably make "no trading them with other tribes" a term of the exchange.

Well for a start, you didn't give Ogros that force axe he carries.
