USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

I think we need to decide if we want to attack Ogros or not, first off. Then we can decide what to do with the extra manpower (if we don't) or how to beat the problems he throws our way (if we do).

Galder will take Firak's opinion into consideration for this as well. These are his men we're talking about, after all.

Also, any chance that some of us can use our connections (Allies/Ties/Contacts) to get equipment that might help or even identify who those bounty hunters were, based off of Edana's descriptions?

These are all very sensible decisions that would best be taken asap.

Firak wants to go for Ogros! A chance like this may never come again!

Rand wants to see if they can get gas masks from the Mecrossans, and if they can identify the bounty hunters that went after us (and maybe anyone else they work with occasionally).

How feasible would it be to send someone in a ship to bombard Ogros when the battle is joined?

If you can, it will take days or more to get them. And it's unreasonable for you to try and describe people you've never seen.

People keep raising this ship-using thing as if it is some unbeatable trump card, and not thinking about the consequences. In general, though, you can't aim at what you can't see, so you'd be blind firing and as likely to hit your own side as theirs. Force use not withstanding- Guidance as a power was based on Luke's Death Star blind fire after all.

Maybe there is some way that we can compensate Firak if we don't chase down Ogros.

So long as it's not a magic skype pole. Anyway, you have more important things to worry about than what he wants. 'Not dying', for example.

Indeed.

I will also stress the importance of not splitting up our group. They caught us unawares and totally divided in the vision, meaning that we were ganged up on (like Relle and eventually Azarl). We need to stay close, if not immediately together.

Well, then I would say not dying is more important than Ogros maybe leading a bigger rebellion later, and we should just leave the whole jungle thing alone.

I concur.

We could inform Firak about our immediate danger to our lives and that we have to put off the attack on Ogros temporarily. If he wants us to deal with Ogros, we have to not-die first 😄

Plus, it appears that the attempt to kill Ogros is ill-fated anyway.

I think we could still take Ogros, but sonce the overwhelming majority vote is not to engage him, I will concur.

So how about we give some of our communicators to Epreans at these guard posts, is it plausible?

I think that'd be incredibly helpful.

Okay, well we need to decide what we're going to do with that ASAP because Rianna's going to head off to put that into place.

I think we should get the Epireans from Firak's settlements and villages around the mountain, and split them to fortify the guard posts further, as well as the base's entrance.

Also, yeah, Firak may want us to go after Ogros...but not dying is definitely more important, both for us and for Firak. If we die, then there's nothing to stop Ogros from completely wiping out all of Firak's villages as well as himself.

First of all are we sure there is only one way to get to the base? I just want to make sure before we move on.

Fair question. It's a mountain, so access iu technically 360, but there is only one walkable path.

What about the base itself? Does the back of the base have any structural integrity vulnerabilities? Could someone drill their way in, or sneak in through a ventilation exhaust system that conveniently only discharges itself in timed intervals that would allow a hard nosed crazyass bounty hunter to slip through with good timing? 😛

In theory, yes, there are always going to be alternate entry routes that people can come up with.

Ok, so the consensus is- everyone is retreating to the mountain, yes?

Yes, I'd rather bring everyone back to the mountain to defend us instead of leaving us out in the jungle, away from everything else and potentially doomed. Galder is confident in his own abilities but he thinks protecting the mountain base is more important- even if he defeated Ogros, what would he have to go back to if the others failed and the mountain were destroyed?
