all he did was profile, stalk and harass him. that makes it ok.

Where was there harassment? Watching someone from afar one time for a few minutes hardly is harassment.

Some would have you believe that walking behind someone is justification for them to assault you.

seriously, see what I mean?

imagine if he had been found guilty?

riiiiight i remember.

because he needed to remember the name of the street so he got out of his car to go see...even though the whole developement where he lived and "patrolled" consists of 3 streets.

🙄

So being followed from afar is reason to double back and beat the stuffing out of them? "Well officer he was following me and i didn't like it. So it's his fault i killed him."

Yes, I see what you mean. I thought this stuff would end after the verdict.

I think the issue is the Zim supporters cannot get over the fact that this went to trial when "it should not have" and the Martin supporters that Zim was acquitted when "he should have been convicted."

So when one starts flapping their mouth, the other gets butthurt.

He was afar. Trayvon clearly could not talk to Zimmerman at first indicating that Zimmerman was keeping distance between them.

Are you aware that repeated blows to the head can cause death? Even if death is not the intent? Martin could have been just trying to rough Zimmerman up but he easily could have killed him as well. But i can't be flexible "Well officer he was following me so i assulted him. That's ok right?"

I hear you, the internet is an echo chamber for butthurt

still, just in terms of the way people are responding, they seem really sensitive for the people on the winning side /shrug

should we label every initiated fist fight as "attempted murder"?

When you slam heads again concrete i guess those are just "love taps" eh?

oh i see so now every statement by zimmerman's lawyer is considered fact. is that how you think the justice system works?

to be fair, Zimmerman's lawyers didn't even suggest the attack was fatal in any way. Degree of injury, or in fact injury at all, are not considerations in self-defense cases under Florida law.

The chances of death occuring certainly increases, dramatically, during physical altercations. Fo sho. But I am positive that most states require you use an object to escalate the charge to attempted murder (this is more for others than you) in unplanned altercations (random fights that occur). You have to prove that the person fully intended and took the steps necessary to kill another person.

Take-away: keep it to just bare knuckles. 😠

There's no way Trayvon could have been labeled as an attempting* murderer.

*Does the word "attemptive" exist?

Too bad it was more than just a statement huh? Or do you think his wounds on the back of his head came from shaving?

So shaving then? Ok let's go with that

you can lay on as much snark and sarcasm as you wish. it does not bring popular and wishful speculation any closer to fact.

one can aquire those wounds by falling back onto concrete after being hit. then again, this is simply contradictory speculation which i will not attempt dress up as fact for an internet win.

These look like "bashing my head into concrete" wounds to you?

Cos they look for like scratches someone would get when fighting/wrestling someone on the ground. Guess it's possible Martin was a weak ass fool and/or Zimmerman has especially durable and bruise resistant skin. But I don't buy Zimmerman's "bashing" claim.
