Too little too late
Personally I'm not upset at all, but If anyone had watched the trial, looked at all presented evidence, and the history of the defendant in the case, it's not only absurd to say that he's racist but obvious that GZ would not be convicted.
This: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bF-Ax5E8EJc
provides a great breakdown of the facts of, and behind this case. All sources provided along with the video, long winded but presented well.
The only reason that this was even brought to trial was the same as most of the non-issues that are used to stir up racial strife.
"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances because they do not want to lose their jobs.
There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don't want the patient to get well." --Booker T. Washington
