Movie Hulk(Avengers) vs Movie Thor

Points that are being ignored by Thor aholics.

Thor was on the losing end against Hulk on the carrier.

Tony stated Hulk was the most formidable on the team.

Hulk turned the tide in a battle against the aliens.

Hulk survived a free fall whereas Thor had to bust out, fly a bit to aid in the impact from the free fall because he would have died just like Loki said.

Thor attacks wasn't doing anything to Hulk (no proof at all he was holding back) whereas Thor was bleeding and getting punched through walls.

Hulk>>Thor

Thor was holding back back in the carrier and there is no evidence that the fall would have killed Thor other than Loki deciding to see if it would.

I do think that Hulk would win tho

Nothing stated that Thor was holding back since he was defending himself. Thor never holds back and he wasn't holding back against Loki either. You all tend to hide behind that argument when a character is getting thrashed. Accept it and move on.

Thor was rushing to break free from the tube because just like Loki said, it would have probably killed him. If it wouldn't have done nothing, why break free?

I didnt say the fall would do nothing i was very possible that he could be hurt badly or maybe he feared it would kill him but that doesnt mean it actually would have.

And to me it seemed as tho Thor was in fact holding back since he could have done much more damage to the carrier if he went all out with lightning strikes and such.

Again i do believe Hulk would beat down on Thor i just dont think Thor was trying his hardest in that scene

Thor was restricted in his use of powers on the hellicarrier Hulk wasn't he ran threw pipes and support beams like they weren't even there he didn't care if the ship fell out of the sky Thor did

When did Thor get the chance to shoot lightning? Hulk was all over him. Hulk even knocked his hammer out of his hands twice. What scene during that fight was Thor capable of shooting a lightning bolt at Hulk?

Holding back excuses is hilarious. Ironman was holding back against Thor. He was talking to him, telling him to stand down and walking up to him punching him when he could have stayed back blasting him. Loki was holding back against Thor as well since that was his brother.

His goal was to fight Hulk, not blast Black Widow as well. Then you are trying to make Thor into something he is not. Show me one showing with him staying in the back at the beginning of a battle blasting his opponent. He likes to fight.

nope, Thor accurately blasted several alien foot soldiers who were in very close proximity to captain america, widow, and hawk eye.

Thor was just holding back coz he didn't want to bust up the hellicarier.

and yes, he was holding back. learn to read between the lines.

He likes to fight yes but that doesnt mean he went all out in this particular fight. The fact is if he went all out he could have easily destroyed the carrier in his wake fighting Hulk but he didnt so he was obviously limiting what he did for the sake of others.

Had they been fighting where no one was around (and he didnt care about hurting Banner which i think he did) the fight would have gone differently imho. Thor still would have gotten rolled but he would have brought more
