Ultimate Sith Fight Winner Take All

I did hate Kreia, though. She was such a pain in the ass. Although she did have probably the best lines in the entire game.

Not really. Most of their games aren't great.

I was speaking purely in terms of story. Obsidian games may be buggy and have broken gameplay, but the story is usually a cut above the rest. New Vagas, Kotor 2, Mask of the Betrayer and Alpha Protocol all have top-notch stories.

To be fair, KotOR II's darker atmosphere and morally grey storyline felt more mature than KotOR I's. The cool thing about one was the novelty and the You are Revan twist, but other than that it was fairly generic hero storyline.

KotOR II almost felt phyrric in the end.

Honestly I prefer Bioware. I have not encounter very many Obsidian games that were good. KOTOR 1 and 2 were exceptions. However, Bioware has scammed me into buying whatever games they release just to support the studio. I blame Dragon Age Origins.

New Vegas is an exception.

I only played that game for about 4 hours... Addmitedly, I was never a fan of Fallout 3. Yes, I know; I'm a bad person.

I can't think of a bad Obsidian game off of the top of my head. Can you elaborate?

Alpha Protocol was pretty bad, as was that Dungeon game that came out last year. But I'm not saying all their games are bad just not great and certainly not on par with Mass Effect.

Anakin and Dooku might have one. But I doubt they would win even if they survive.

Well, I mean going off Canon. 😛

This wouldn't be the first time you disappointed us, Ares.

Go back to your cell.

Actually, I'm not a big Fallout fan either.

And I'm not going back to any cell. Ever.

The great thing about video games is that simple, generic storylines can be much more effective than they usually are by exploiting power fantasies. You are Revan! You are saving the Galaxy! You are a badass who walks through sith like water! Raaaargh!

That story wouldn't be nearly as good in a novel.

But a more mature story will always appeal to me more than that personally.

Now that I think about, you guys might be right. I think I might need to play both games. Again. For the 50th time.

But... But... I love Skyrim. Skyrim!

KOTOR 2 is pretty underrated. If it's the same exact game but if BioWare did it then it's a masterpiece.

Hardly. If Bioware creates a shitty ending they get death threats.

Lol.

If by death threats you mean words on the internet and cupcakes then yes, death threats.

And to be fair that wasn't BioWare. The ending was mainly done by Casey Hudson and it's actually an achievement to take something so epic like Mass Effect and ruin it to the point where you have to give out free DLC.

I really can forgive Bioware for ME3's shitty ending; the rest of the game was so great I don't even care.

I more or less feel this way. I would prefer a better ending, with more closure, etc., but I'm happy with the experience anyways.

I don't get the uproar over it. Sure, I would have really liked a better ending, than what they gave us. But with how amazing the series had been, I dont care. Though it does make me sad, I can forgive it. Bioware has great writers for the most part, and I like their games.

Exactly. I would prefer it, of course, but it's not like I'm going to get pissed because of it. I enjoyed the rest of the game and the other two games so much my anger because of a bad ending is almost nonexistent.

Now, if there were a DLC that provided multiple more endings, guess how high the sales figure would be?
