I knew this would happen. Bungie hyping shit too much lol. Content feels very very weak.
WAS DESTINY'S FULL GAME CONTENT DISCOVERED?

If that is true, that's still a lot of content to play with. Well enough for a full game.

Unless each story mission is 10 minutes long.

Agreed. I don't think its that bad/weak, but the hype the game has(F U Bungie you always do this) will work against it IMHO. Nowadays you need to be really careful about overhyping your games . Sure you might get good cash in the opening day, but then people will start getting disappointed and the hate starts pouring it.

Either way I played a lot in the beta, I'll most likely be playing for a long while.

People were expecting MMO-level content though. That sucks.

That's because that's how they hyped it.

At the moment?

No, this isn't a day 1 buy for me, not even if it came out on PC first. It was pretty fun, but also rather frustrating and dull in many ways.

The Warlock was disappointing. What I played of it anyway. I expected a super kewl magician guy who tossed magic like Zack Fair tosses salad. What I got was a fairly weak gunslinger class who could throw fancy grenades or shoot a generic energy blast with long cooldowns. Disappointing.

Yeah. I know about the hype. Which is why I stayed away from anything Destiniy related until a week before the beta came out. Bungie is notorious for using fancy words to describe standard concepts and make them seem like the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Bungie's track-record of making very solid shooters shows through in this game, but they need to work on thinking outside of that shooter box. Not only are the special abilities too generic in look and function, but even the weapons are very by the numbers.

I mean, this is supposed to be some pretty hardcore sci-fi/fantasy, yet every gun is more or less the same old tacticool modern warfare stuff we in every shooter. Point it at something, pull the trigger, it shoots some kind of bullet or energy bullet in a straight line.

I feel like they have a very great opportunity to be creative and come up with some fun, quirky stuff for both the weapons and the abilities. Stuff like the gravity gun, or even the Chainsaw bayonet (frequently held up as an example of gamer immaturity, but **** that- that thing was fun as **** to use from game 1 to game 4).

As it currently stands, I find myself looking upon the enemies' guns and their little homing bullets with envy- though even those guns are rather repetitive (the fodder have smaller guns that shoot bullets that track you- the boss units have larger guns that shoot larger bullets that track you). I mean, didn't they come up with the needler like 10 years ago? They could do better.

The game doesn't have nearly enough content or polish to warrant a day 1 release from me, but I see lots of potential for it to be great in the future- perhaps after a couple years of additional content.

And the ability to increase the size of my Evolved Warlock's rack.

I had a damn fine hunter. droolio

Actually that was a gift.

I just don't know if I want to buy a game that could have microtransactions. I'll wait for reviews first.

You getting Evolve btw?

I think I will now that it has been delayed.

Only 3 weeks left..😊

What about this game excites all of you?

For me, it's a new game. Haven't been any substantial new releases since Watch Dogs/Wolfenstein.

I'm also intrigue in the setting as well.

I wanna play more raids/strikes and play the rest of the game.

Plus what Smas said.
