Then you will see the obvious truth at last and you will be fit to join the ranks of the non-troll.

I agree that McClane will get his ass kicked and quite thoroughly. But this is the movie vs. forum: some of Bauer's best H2H feats are not in the world premier 2-hour movie specials from 24.
Based on that, I think it's closer to a 8 out of 10 for Bauer. Remember, you have to stick within the rules of the forum.

I agree that it goes to Bauer by a significant margin. I think what others have been hammering is the "McClane Factor" which is McClane's absurd luck during certain events. Sure, McClane was also very unlucky at times, too (glass feet...ouch). That luck should allow him to win on the rare occasion.
If we could include more of Bauer's more awesome feats (like that wall jump, insta-death kill that he did against the terrorist lieutenant during the season 2 season finale (I think)) shows that Bauer can kill, instantly, with something other than a simple sneak-up-behind-and-snap-the-neck crap.
Wins what? A ticket to the grave?
For all you know, McClane could just punch Bauers nose up into his skull in 1-2 secs into the fight.
Bauer though, with his comparative girliness could be wailing away on McClane trying to snap his neck, pull his hair, pinch, bite and whatother wussy fighting technique he likes and get nowhere whatsoever in the face of McClane's durabilitahhh.
And McClane will win.
In action movies like this (not something Bauer would be used to) is that Durabilty is what you need when fighting tough opponents.
Often battles swing to and fro and the winner emerges on top.
(Like McClane does all the way through the DH movies, and surviving all manner of collisions, falls, assaults, without flatlining due to a weak ticker once..maybe he could just jump out at Bauer unexpectedly and say "Boo" causing instant McVictory)
