Let's hope so.

It's a shame their 1 titan(TDK) can't be incorporated into a shared Universe. Because it means they are basically starting from scratch.

MOS looks good, but he could have used the backing of a successful Batman franchise to move forward with JL.

i agree

It's yet to be confirmed MOS will be the starting point of a shared universe, or that Justice League will even be in the same continuity. Remember their previous JL project involved casting different actors for Superman & Batman, separate from the the individual film series? That went over like a lead balloon with fans, and was a major reason the project got scrapped at the 11th hour.

Christopher Nolan is calling the shots on this; as long as he keeps saying he doesn't see a way for Batman & Superman to share a cinematic universe, well... 😬

he knows of a way, he just isn;t sharing it with the rest of the world at this point

Rumor is that henry cavill has signed o.to a jla movie. And that new scenes has been shot in relation to a shared universe.

thats an old rumor.. its true anyway

I'd heard that too. Hopefully it's done well.

Latest rumor. It's big, so there is a greater danger it could fail.

I doubt it, though.

well since its already rumored that Darkseid is in the Justice League film so yeah.. I just want Darkseid to be portrayed well

...The chances of that working are slim at best.

Introducing not one team of characters, but TWO?

Urmm I think they would need a seperate Justice Society and Justice League film first before doing a crossover.

All he said is he will draw from it. That doesn't mean the entire story or even half the story will be directly translated from it.

Nor does it mean that the JSA will definitely show up. If they do it could end up being a partial cameo before the JLA gets sucked up.

But yeah if they try to introduce two teams fully that will be hard to pull off.

I found this link interesting. Read between the lines.

Christopher Nolan:

"I can't talk about that," Nolan told the site with what they describe as a "Cheshire smile," "You know that."

I have a feeling Nolan will be involved with the JLA movie, even if it's just as a producer.

Batman on film doesn't think he will be..

Time will tell. Man of Steel is the most anticipated movie in 2013 so far! Completely smashing the competition so far.

Over 15 M views in a few days? This movie is getting a lot of positive buzz right now.

I think Nolan's staying away from JLA because meta humans and exaggerated fight scenes aren't his style. He can do fantasy for sure but even with his fight scenes in Batman you can see is mediocre. He's not on the level of Snyder, Tarantino, or Whedon when it comes to flashy special effects and action. So no, I don't think he'll be doing a JLA. Not that he can't if he really tried but he won't because it's not in his interest nor his creative style.

Snyder's Sucker Punch was pure garbage, but the movie is beautifully shot and the action itself is superb. For the JLA, you need someone like this (along with a good script).

Nolan as a producer seems to be a better thing than him directing it. the action in his Batman movies was, well, shit, so hopefully we do get someone like Snyder like wwk said.

Just remember, Green Lantern once led the polls for most anticipated summer movie of 2011. Proved not to be the case, once the full film got revealed.

Man of Steel looks soooo much better than GL. The reactions are much more positive than GL. And has a MUCH better cast. Not to mention WB has stamped one of the best names in the business on the movie, Christopher Nolan. It's pretty much day and night.

YouTube video

I remember Warner Bros. talking so glowingly about Green Lantern in advance, that they stated they were going to quickly film two sequels back to back. Beware getting sucked into the studio hype machine.

MOS has a good creative pedigree behind the camera, but so did GL. What has me positive about the trailer is that it looks like a major stylistic change by Zack Snyder. As it stands, it looks like Christopher Nolan has successfully reigned him in, which is what I(and many others) hoped would happen.

(the above video is adorable!)

At the same time, I just hope they didn't let Nolan and Goyer "modernise" it too much.

When I was in The Hobbit, I could hear the people behind me when the Man of Steel trailer came on. They were saying, "What is this?", "This looks soooooooooooooo boring.", "Who's going to see this?" and then they were look "Wait... he's Superman?" They had no idea what was going on until he busted out the cape. 😆

You think so? I didn't care too much for the creative team behind GL at all. It DID look good from the trailers, but I felt it wasn't enough. And from all the boards I went on to, most people actually thought it looked quite laughable, but they didn't really know GL.

Not so for the Man of Steel. Pretty much all the reactions I have seen have been positive. Even Superman haters have been digging it.
