I don't really understand your hate for Goyer - especially when around the Nolans. I'm currently reading Batman Begins the script and it's genius. Honest to god, I think Batman Begins is a much tighter script than J. Nolan's other two. Maybe he doesn't work as well solo (Ghost Rider should be proof) but he strikes gold when the Nolan's exert just a little influence.

I don't think he has it in him to write a superhero story, tbh. Obviously Man of Steel might change my mind, so we'll see, but right now, I'm not sure about him, especially with all those rumours concerning his belief in "modernising" Superman.

The New 52 "modernized" Superman - I haven't really heard anything negative from you about that. I mean, Superman Returns showed us that audience's are not as appreciative of the same things that they were when Christopher Reeve wore the tights. Why would it be any different from Goyer?

The New 52 didn't cite John Byrne as their inspiration for any of what they did, and besides, Superman might be younger in the new 52, but he's no more modern than he was before the rbeoot.

Was watching mask of zorro the other night and realized that prime Catherine Zeta Jones would have been an awesome Wonder woman.

I have them as PDF files among other scripts from other movies. As far as Batman, you can go here:

http://www.nolanfans.com/screenplays/

That's all of Nolan's films as scripts - with Goyer having written Batman Begins.

Justice League film is in trouble. Seems studio execs thought Will Beall's script was crap, and it's being tossed out.

Hands up, all who are surprised.

They're not making any release date in 2015. Forget it.

I'm sure they do have him on speed dial, but if Nolan has a vision of doing more super hero movies there is still time for a JLA movie.

If he has no interest than there is no sense in bringing it up.

He only brought him up because I did. And my quote was:

If they (WB) can convince them to handle their entire Justice League movies I'd be happy.

So, I think if WB can convince them to take on the projects then it would be a good thing.

If MOS is a success and actually good, I'm down for more Nolan. 🙂

Oh well. We still have Avengers 2 and Abram's SW Episode 7 to look forward to that year.

But yeah.. Not a huge surprise.

I told you guys you were all jumping the gun on this. I'll be wating for the new Star Wars movies.

they know Nolan and Co. are gold, they also have a great working relationship with them.. WB also knows to get out of Nolan's way and let him do his thing..

I know all of this. I was just asking if Nolan/Goyer wanted to continue writing more DC properties.

Until I hear it from the actual source, I don't always believe what I read. Especially from places like comicbooknews or Bleedingcool.

i don't see why not.. there is a reason why WB wanted him to "Godfather" Man of Steel.. Most likely, IMO if the next script for the Justice League is shit when its turned in Team Nolan will get a call and shortly start writing

they do want to write more DC , in fact while promoting Person of Interest, Jonathon Nolan got very very happy when asked if he wanted to write more DC

I don't know why people here are holding out hope of Christopher Nolan being the one to godfather Justice League to the big screen. Everything he's said in the past shows he doesn't want to make a shared universe, that it would rob Batman and Superman of their uniqueness.

But he's already got writing credits to MOS which is starting the shared Universe.

Anyway everyone's got a price. If WB's attempts to pull off JL without him keep failing, then I'm sure they'll do whatever it takes to get the Nolans aboard.

'Alleged' shared universe, so far. We've had no confirmation of any DC character appearing in this who's outside the Superman mythos. This isn't like the early confirmations of Samuel Jackson appearing as Nick Fury in Iron Man, or Robert Downey Jr. making a cameo in The Incredible Hulk, which we knew about months in advance.
