DC's Shared universe will start with...

Yeah. They need to start letting us know where they're going with this.

But he's already got writing credits to MOS which is starting the shared Universe.

Anyway everyone's got a price. If WB's attempts to pull off JL without him keep failing, then I'm sure they'll do whatever it takes to get the Nolans aboard.

i just won't be at all surprised if team Nolan comes aboard to re write the justice league script

How well do you think Nolan would do writing a script for the JL?

Have to see how him and Snyder pull off MOS. Then we'll have a much better idea.

Not looking good for the JL movie.

Hopefully as time passes a good director will be free and want to do it Justice! No pun intended.

Yeah, there's even rumours that we'll get the Batman reboot before Justice League now.

It makes sense financially speaking. Batman has always been one of their biggest selling movie franchises. A successful Justice League could hinge on the fans willingness to enjoy the Batman the bring to it.

It still sucks that all these things keep popping up, and seems to point to the fact WB doesn't really want to put the effort into a JL movie properly.

WB has been the biggest reason why DC has had such a hard time moving movies forward. It's ridiculous.

I know it's crazy.

Of course the Avengers probably is forcing their hand in that DC fans now want this movie done and Superhero movies are such a good source of income they can't just blow it off, but they also can't just throw one out without doing it properly otherwise they could end with a huge negative backlash cause of how good the Avengers were.

TBH, The Avengers might actually benefit DC in the long run, as its success is finally making WB get off their asses and actually consider putting out more superhero movies.

Justice League, if it comes out any time soon, is going to draw comparisons with Avengers. Thankfully there are enough people that will watch it regardless if it's even half-decent, and it'll make money.

The power struggle at WB was apparently intense between three guys vying to become CEO. One of them was the guy that was giving us all the DC movies (animated and live), but he didn't win. So, who knows how WB is going to handle their DC line up now.

Yeah I read about that somewhere.

Well it's probably better this way. Superman and Batman both need solo movies before a JL movie. Those 2 need to be the characters that lead the way.

In the mean time they should try and make a Wonder Woman movie work Imho.

But WB do need some time to work out how to make successful superhero movies before they just jump into JL. None of us would forgive them if that ended up being a terrible movie.

That, and it would set back any more movies by years.

Dwayne Johnson no longer Lobo, Seems he lost interest in the role.

Thank goodness. He doesn't fit that role anyways. Mickey Rourke would play a better Lobo.

Not even him

Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be the better actor to play him.

Rumor and speculation, but from a source that's been proven right many times before. Basically, Nolan has been put in charge of the entire DC Cinematic Universe as producer and chief creative, Bale will reprise his role as Bruce, and Snyder will be directing/producing.

I don't care what PR says, I'd be happy with this happening.

Me too.

If this is true, then this is the smartest decision DC/WB has made. At this point, they need to put talented people in the control seat to make something like JLA. Avengers took time and talent.
