Rumor and speculation, but from a source that's been proven right many times before. Basically, Nolan has been put in charge of the entire DC Cinematic Universe as producer and chief creative, Bale will reprise his role as Bruce, and Snyder will be directing/producing.

I don't care what PR says, I'd be happy with this happening.

you guys should believe me more often.. i have said that Chris Nolan and Co. could return and quite possibly it seems I was right.... I knew from the get go that the possibility of working with Nolan and Co. was an offer WB cannot/could not refuse.. I am truly happy

I meant Christopher Nolan's brother. Besides, it's only a rumor.

of course, however this is one rumor that might turn out true,, we just have to wait and see to see how Man of Steel does

Please be TRUE. PLEASE!

If MOS is a box office Hit then putting it together with Nolan's Batman would be a guaranteed Smash on par with Avengers.

But whatever route they take it all depends on MOS doing really well. Fingers crossed.

We'll have to see if this is any more true than the breathless 2008 report from an 'inside' source, that they had already cast Cher to be Selina Kyle for the next film.

Seriously; Man Of Steel is going to open in three months, it's been in the can since late 2011. Can they throw in a random end scene like that & have it make sense? It would have to have been planned from the beginning.

Considering how TDKR ended, it's really better just to start over with Batman. Bruce was already retired once for eight years; now he's believed to be dead and out living in the rest of the world. Storywise, it would feel awfully forced to reverse all that and bring things back to the status quo. Not to mention Christian Bale is ten years older than Henry Cavill. Someone closer in age would be better.

DC leads Marvel in one category - making the most media news that ends up amounting to nothing.

MOS is already shaping up to be the super hero hit, if all is true. Anyway, this guys should play Batman

Man, if true, this could be the biggest super hero news of all time. Nolan is the biggest director name in hollywood now. And on top of that, Guillermo Del Toror's Justice League Dark? Make it happen, WB!

Bale is still 10 years younger than Downy Jr. He's got plenty of Batman left in him imo.

I've been seeing the suggestion that the WB could be trying to make a Worlds Finest movie after Man of Steel and have that be the spring board for future solo hero movies leading to Justice League (or lead to Justice League directly).

I think I'd prefer that idea over just jumping into Justice League right off the bat without a strong story. Thoughts?

If they could just make a good Wonder Woman movie then I think JL movie starting with just DC's main trinity of heroes could be huge.

Not sure about just Bats and Supes in a world's finest. Leaves no room for an exciting confrontation between team members (Hulk vs Thor was the best and most exciting fight in Avengers for me). And the overall possibilities for that movie just wouldn't be as exciting.

Maybe World's Finest introducing WW?

I decided to read the Green Lantern script, just to see if what was written was as bad as what we got.

I'm literally 5 pages in and I can already say I wish they had made this movie instead of the garbage that we got.

I finally read the entire script. It still had a lot of things that I didn't like (using a yellow "thing" be the main bad, Hal quitting - but at least in the script it made a little more sense), but the script was about 10000% better than what ended up on film.

They basically took out a bunch of scenes that set up other scenes, shrank the role of a lot of supporting actors (his nephew was supposed to show up a few times, his mother and Alan Scott were taken out completely, and Tom basically shrank to nothing), completely took out Hal's fathers accident and all the scenes that show how that impacted Hal.

The script wouldn't have been my take on GL - but if they had filmed what was on script we wouldn't have considered GL a failure. And DC Movies would be in a much better place.

If anyone wants to read the script, go here:

I read a yahoo news artical that stated that both bale and nolan may be returning for The JLA movie. This would mean that It ties into the nolan verse. Which I think is a terrible Idea.....

1. Nolans batman could not fit into this ever...for any reason

&

2. It would be a huge screw you to the dark knight rises fans.

^ Yeah but none of that matters if it's going to bring in the hype and money. Which it would.

yayyyyyyyyyyyy.. no ryan reynolds..

http://www.superherohype.com/news/articles/175701-ryan-reynolds-not-interested-in-returning-as-green-lantern-right-now

Pretty sure Reynolds wasn't the problem with Green Lantern.

Ryan Reynolds did as he was told - they wanted GL to be DC's Iron man.

And I posted the script before. You guys should really read it. It's not perfect, but it's 100000% better than what we got. Parallax (Legion as it's called) actually gets taken down in a believable manner rather than sun gravity sink.

Pr. Read it, I need someone to discuss it with.

I'm glad he recognized he didn't play the role well enough to do a sequel. He was playing Hal Jordan. The movie was basically Ryan Reynolds finding a Green Lantern ring and becoming a superhero. He was far from Hal playing Hal.
