This film wasn't bad IMHO.
Dredd 2012>Judge Dredd 1995.

The movie was pretty solid imo. hoping that it makes a decent profit.

sadly, it hasn't and wont. Prduction budget was $50m and it only made $30. I think you have to make double the budget to make a profit. That's kinda sad because i thought it was a really good movie and it likely wont get a sequel now. I blame Stallone.

the only major flaw that stood out to me was that Dredd ran out of ammo when he could have taken the extra ammo from the other Judge he killed earlier... that was dumb.

That's why I said I was hoping. 😛

This hits blu-ray in a couple days here in the States. I'll more-than-likely be picking it up.

Just stupid with society these days

a good movie comes out and hardly no one wants to see it.

In a perfect world this movie would've sold millions if not more.

This is a def buy on the movie want list...and will by my first blu-ray purchase.....and now I need to buy a blu-ray player....

And I'm certainly buying the 3D blu-ray tomorrow.

The film's lack of box office was disappointing, sure, but Judge Dredd's reputation has been restored and that's a victory. We just have to hope it becomes a cult hit on home video.

I'd definitely buy this on Blu-ray.
I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel for this either.

Hopefully it reaches cult status on DVD, because otherwise it is not getting a sequel. MacGruber is getting a sequel for its DVD sales/rentings even though it bombed in theaters. Luckily, I have yet to hear of anybody who really disliked Dredd.

Yes. Hopefully the Disc Sales will enable the movie to pull a Hellboy and help to get a sequel made.

I juz figured if the guns were personalised to each Judge then maybe you couldn't interchange the ammo as well.

Picked this up today. Oh dear god, I wish I had a 3D tv/player...
