Ultron War

Well that Ultron arc in Mighty Avengers was post Civil War as the team was the "legal and official" Avengers team at that point.

Yes, it was a skrull. I liked that Skrull because he had some neat feats, too bad it was killed off 😬

I still have the Busiek/ Perez run on the avengers including the Ultron Unlimited still in my mind the best Ultron story than the female Ultron on Mighty Avengers.

Marvel should not, and not aloow Bendis to do another major event for a while, he just wasted one the best villains in comics, shameful!!

Bendis had already shown in my eyes at least that he was capable of doing a good Ultron event. When he wants to, he writes well and I enjoyed a lot of his earlier work especially mighty avengers/Illuminati. But he already ruined this for me. Ultron hasn't even appeared and seeing as how much time is left in the event, there is no way for there to be a good finish to this.

What's bugged me the most though is the off panel deaths. Why wouldn't he show the downfall of Earth's heroes? So he can instead be a selfish A-hole and kill Hank Pym for no good reason so it can turn into a cluster phuck of alternate reality nonsense? It's frustrating...

Just read issue #7. I don't even know how this is supposed to be considered an "Age of Ultron" anymore.

The new timeline created by Wolverine and Sue is a battle scarred world of the kree/skrull war. The Avengers don't exist, they have a team of "Defenders" , Tony Stark is in control of the world now and he filled it with ironman drones, but.....no Ultron. THE legitimate Ultron, has yet to make an appearance. There's only 3 issues left and Bendis is putting in filler scenes like Sue fighting dinosaurs for Christ's sake. The event is just badly disappointing by all regards.

He's written Dark Avengers. That alone should keep him alive for decades if not more.

Other than that, he's one of the least effective heroes when it comes to h2h fighting (unless Janet's the target). He should've stuck to being single and using tech, if you ask me.
