Rand laughs.
"Not all legends are true. A natural disaster washed the life from Dontos and it was evacuated, thousands and thousands of years ago. Something of that magnitude tends to wipe a world from the records. I located it sometime ago, during my years as a Jedi."
You will be taking Arneth's old assault ship that Vash has commandeered. Vash can still pilot the thing one-handed, so long as nothing demanding is required. Rand is content to sit co-pilot while you ride in the passenger seat.
Vash is less than happy to have you aboard, of course. You sense his anger keenly. Nothing is said. The ship takes off from a private landing pad at the hospital, and jets into space before you can even think to ask Rand what planet you were on. All you know is that it was ashy and cold... and rich.
You can get some shut-eye. Wholesome sleep never hurt anyone. Except it won't be enough to heal your hurts. You drift off.
Rand turns to wake you when you feel the ship drop out of hyperspace above a mold-green planet below. He smiles when he notices you have woken.
"Welcome to Dontos," Rand says. "Nobody will find us here."
Even from orbit you can see the storms roiling across the surface of the planet, and great oceans that take up most of the surface. Rand feeds the nav-comp some coordinates to assist Vash with the landing process, and the vessel descends into the angry swirl of clouds.
The minute you meet atmosphere, the ship begins rocking. Vash is straining at the control, grasping at the clutch with a single hand while Rand grins devilishly.
"I can't hold it...!" Vash complains. You sense genuine fear in him.
"You didn't," Rand says simply.
Having gotten beneath the worst of the storming, Vash is able to bring the ship down to a place that Rand has indicated: a cliffside beside an ancient structure. The structure appears to have been some sort of coastal fortress, made of stone, overlooking a small bay. It and the cliffs have been smoothed by millennia of crashing waves.
Once Vash lands, Rand says to disembark the craft.
"Head for the cliffs," Rand says.
