Rather a complaint for Vlad to worry about, than for Wentar. You can actually send the Jedi fighter back to Coruscant, if you like.
Being that the planets are relatively close the grand scheme of the Galaxy, it takes little time for the Free Flier to reach Kormsath from Shollis. You do not like the look of the world even from space; greasy gray clouds conceal much of the surface from view.
"I'm picking up tons of traffic in orbit," Emso says, checking the Flier's scanners.
Once you close in, it becomes apparent why. Aside from numerous ships coming and going from the planet's surface, the Kormsathans use small, ugly interceptors to patrol the traffic lanes coming in. They flit about, launching from small orbital platforms when needed.
"Target locks incoming," Emso warns.
Wentar - incoming hail from traffic control.
Ah yes, a very important piece of information that I forgot.

In short, Wentar, the response that comes through is simply a welcome message and a holographic contract that pops up from the control panel in your ship.
In short, it outlines terms for confidentiality. The operators of the Dead Man's Den will not share any of your information, business, or whereabouts with anyone, so long as you do not try to violate anyone else's confidentiality. It also requests that you either leave all weapons and droids aboard your ship and report them to the port authority (and that's "and," not "or"😉. The contract is binding all individuals aboard your vessel.
They give a very vague threat of: "We will find you if you breach this agreement."
Didn't expect the 'no droids or weapons' policy. I think, in terms of weapons, we have Emso's blaster, Vlad's rifle and our two lightsabers (Even though lightsabers are totally the tools of a Jedi, not weapons. 😛)
I'm okay with going in unarmed, even if it's just while we scout around, we can always go back to our ship and get them yes? We can report the blasters and hide the lightsabers on The Free Flier.
I'll wait for Vlad's input before proceeding with signing the contract and landing.
Well, I'm sure they're going to be checking us for weapons as soon as we get in.
Right?
I had the thought of maybe reporting our ligthsabers to them, just to make sure we are under the protection of the agreement. If it is found out we are Jedi, and then they realize we lied about not having our lightsabers, it nulls the contract, and then anyone opening fire on us there if a conflict comes along has the right to do so, I'm assuming. Plus, they said they don't share the information with anyone. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of the place if us having lightsabers changes anything.
I mean the point is to break the contract secretly, I doubt it would work to forcibly find info out of someone at the seaport. As long as we get the data or clues we need without anybody knowing we should be fine, no?
And honestly I don't even think anybody here would tell us about Loj'oon's whereabouts.
Keeping our Jedi status hidden is the precaution.
We need to break the contract is the issue, we need to find Loj'oon to discover more about the Overseer and the Kylugo Srum. We know he was here, we need the information they have to help us in tracking him down.
Out of curiosity are we having this conversation in character or out of character? Personally I'd find this argument being in character to be good character development.
I feel like we should all start doing things more in character 😛
Vlad quickly skims over the contract, before handing it back to Wentar.
"I think we should report our lightsabers, Wentar... There's no reason we should visibly violate the contract at all during our stay here. Sure, we are going to violate it one way or another by trying to investigate Loj'oon's whereabouts, but we can't make it obvious we are doing it anyway. Don't want a bounty added to our heads in addition to the Overlord's assassins"
"With them promising us complete discretion, you think it would really be a big problem if they thought we were Jedis? Imagine the type of people they probably usually get...."
I agree! The Dark Siders do it all the time and it's always entertaining.

Wentar accepts the contracts return, placing it back on the control console.
"If we reveal we're Jedi and we get caught violating the contract word may get back to the Jedi Council. Both of us are already on thin ice with the Council I feel and Master Windu gave me instructions not to cause any more trouble in the region when he gave me this mission," he replies, idly flicking through the contract again.
"I actually do think they'd have an issue with us being Jedi. We rarely have reason to 'lie low' out on the rim, not while we have access to the entire Republic. Jedi only come out here to investigate something, these people will know that and will not appreciate it. It will make them suspicious."
I say we move that trend over to the Light-side thread!
I feel like we missed a crucial encounter between Vlad and Wentar when they first physically came into contact after the mission, meaning when Vlad entered The Free Flier just now. There's a lot of things Vlad needs to say about the... Unfortunate events of the last mission.
Vlad nods at the comment about the Council. He couldn't botch anything up. At the same time...
"So in order to avoid the Council's disapproval, you want to break the contract without any chance of the Council finding out about it....
As opposed to breaking the contract while having a direct lead to the Council.
Either way - we are in the end violating these regulations.
The only people who might think we are Jedi due to our lightsabers - are the individuals who run this starport. Somehow I highly doubt that these are the people that we will have to go to to find the information. They are the ones who created this whole 'haven.' Chances are, they're very idealistic about it."
Certainly should.
We could always backtrack and cover the initial meeting before we land on the planet, assuming Rex is okay with it.
"So long as it cannot be tied back to the Council and cause a political issue I do not think they will disapprove. I don't like having to do this by breaking this planets laws, but I see no other way.
"The problem is people will not tell us anything, not with the threat of bounty if they do, we will need to get at their records which will be more difficult to do if we make ourselves noticeable from the start."
Vlad finally gives in,
"I guess you are right, Wentar... The faster we find the information the better. Plus... It is always better to be underestimated rather then the opposite...
How securely can you lock your ship? Any chance of it being searched through when we are gone?"
I hope this hiding our lightsaber thing doesn't come back to bite us in the ass.
Knowing Rex something will come back and bite us on the ass, and it'll probably be something we didn't even consider.
"The element of surprise is a powerful ally," Wentar says with a smile. "I wouldn't want to lock it to a point where it seems we have something to hide... They shouldn't legally be allowed to search the ship, not without a warrent at least."
Nevertheless Wentar wants to look through the contract to see if they are allowed to at any point.
Emso will offer up that, if the Dead Man's Den truly lives up to its claim, the owners and operators are the sort of people that are okay with rapists and murderers laying low. They probably wouldn't react to the presence of Jedi with awe.
And the Council is not so much your concern as is the Senate, here. Wentar, Vlad, and Master Altar have received some serious flak for joining in the fight against the Srum.
And Wentar gets spot on there; they cannot search your ship at any point or for any reason.
