Well, "Galan" 😛
You're right, Reed can outperform any computer as well. Even in raw number crunching ability (I lol'd at Fear Itself, when Peter offered to take over while he rescued the kids at the Baxter building, and when Reed told him all the things his mind was dealing with, Peter volunteers to go instead? 😄)
But Superman, by virtue of super speed applying to his though processes, should be able to even out calculate Reed.
That said, the programmers of modern chess programs claim even with reduced processing power, their software is many times stronger than Deep Blue ever was.. So it's "possible" Reed can win, even if he's only calculating a fraction of what Superman's mind is. I mean, chess programs do beat other chess programs, so we haven't hit a glass ceiling where advances in programming techniques and processing power no longer matter, or every program would draw with another program... (Which is what happens with checkers computer software)
