You can disagree on value but it's silly to act like thinking the price is steep is simple whining.
It's an option, not an obligation, so I really don't think people have too much cause to complain. I mean, it's a LOT of stuff on top of a 50-60 dollar game.

Sure you can, but I don't agree. I think, considering what you get with it, they could have charged more.
It isn't Oblivion? As in, Elder Scrolls? What does that have to do with it?
Price is a big deal for me too, and if I want to buy this, I'm going to have to pay the equivalent of 230 dollars for it.
I think the complaints are largely overblown, tbh. There are three options when buying this game, and it's always been the case that the collector's editions cost more.
Are EA money-grabbing bastards? Definitely. I just think that, when you weigh what you're actually getting, the price isn't as bad as people are making it out to be.
What price do you think it should be?
I'm on my phone, meant obligation but autocorrect made oblivion.
Yes collectors editions always cost more but a lot of the times the goods aren't high quality and still less. My 3ds almost cost as much as this so while it would be neat to have I think it's too steep for what I'd likely look at once and ignore outside of the statue.
I think maybe like 120 to 130 is good unless everything is way higher quality than I'm expecting and the journal wasn't actually written by an intern 😛
I liked the Mass Effect one. The "fight the waves" one. I wouldn't mind one where you import your inquisitor and team up with three others and fight through a dungeon. Almost like an MMO. Just fill it with lore and all that goodness.
Just do not, under any circumstances, attach it to single-player or integrate it. That was a ***** move, and I frankly want to hurt the person that said that single-player was dead.

9 companions confirmed (which we already know), though a statement from Bioware saying that there will definitely NOT be any companion DLC:
So no more Jaavik issues.
Fan fiction approach and catering to fanboys? In what way?

I've always wanted games like elder scrolls and fallout to try something like that instead of an mmo, just a small multiplayer group where things can still matter.
Agreed, it'd be interesting imo. Imagine exploring the world of Skyrim with a friend, etc.
